Hai Sung
Nestled in the hills in Asia, Hai Sung was once the center of all trade. Sims flocked from all over to come visit the legendary city. Now 500 years later Hai Sung has mostly remained the same. The residents maintain the traditional values and have so far not been affected by modernization. But a scare number of sims are moving in, will Hai Sung be able to keep the traditional charm? Or be forced to expand the city due to growing population?
Hai Sung is a large world, and will contain all spawners. Hai Sung will use only: The base game, World Adventures, Ambitions, and Late Night. No stuff packs will be used.
Hai Sung is a country/city world. The left side of Hai Sung has multiple Asian farms, and around 20 or so homes scattered around the hills. The middle and the right side of Hai Sung, however, is much more modern. There will be more homes/ apartments to choose from. Maybe a subdivision or two. There is another thread called "Preview of my new world". You might find more pictures/information there.
If you have any questions/suggestions please ask them!
Now here is the pictures!:D
Alot has been done since these pictures, but I am not home and can not post them.
Oh, and if you're wondering how I got CAW to work with the patch I downloaded this thing. I'll put a link if people ask.

Are you being sarcastic?:D
Because the other one was a " Preview of my new world! " thread. This one is the real thread where I will post updates and stuff.
Oh. Alright:D
Just making sure!:D
I really like this It really does look like you've captured the look of Asia for this world!
I really do love the pictures of the terrain here - I really like the sculpting and colours.
The paved/concreted square reminds me of Mulan - so for me I'm really impressed! 8)
Happy building!

You've managed to achieve just the right look from the pics I see.
It's very nice so far  Those roads look risky!
Thanks! I studied Asia quite a bit before doing this, I think it paid off!:D
I used a heightmap for the terrain, well for the edges. The inside I did myself:D
Thanks!
If you have any tips to make it look more Asian than please share!:D
Thanks!
Oh, they are. they're pretty steep in some spots! But from the videos I watched the roads are like that!

What do you think? Highrises or no? I think they look good, but I said no highrises...
Anyway, A larger update later.
But does this mean you are quitting Rodchester Heights? If so then, I could finish it! And give you 75 % credit....If you are going to continue Rodchester, then yay! Two awesome worlds!
i don't think this world would look as nice with the highrises.
Thank you!
I am not quitting Rodchester.
I will wait until Pets so I can do the Edit in Game.
And don't start about the files and junk. I don't know how.
:XD:
Hmmm, I don't know what to do then!
Should I make my own apartments?
I purposely chose the small highrises because I didn't want the huge big ones, but they are still too big.
if it's not too much work, go with your own apartments.
Alright, I probably will.
Ugh, now I have to think of a design for all of them
Should they be all like, older and stuff?
Suggest stuff
asia seems to have a mix of both.
but, mostly older buildings.
have fun building.
^I don't know why that's like that. But hopefully it changes.
^I don't know about that waterfall:/
As you can see from the pictures, the DT is gone! It is in CAW but when you go in game it's there for a few minutes but then it goes away! Help?
And the waterfall looks okay but I would reccomend doing just a litle bit lighter shade of blue
