I've had the same thing happen to me, I made the Stroud Mansion a residential rental, then changed my mind, I've tried everything I can think of to get the lot to work again, to no avail. the lot is simply broken. I can't even have someone live there, the game set the rent to over 4,000,000 Simoleans!

In my game, the Straud Mansion in Forgotten Hollow, got a minor update. I turned the two tower rooms an the large upstairs lanai into an apartment and gave the two bedrooms some extra "in room" activities. My vampire sim has already moved into his space in the basement, waiting for his victims... I mean tenants to move in.…

I only say "yes it is" if you like to play sims stories where the sims live under shabby conditions. For instance, the workout machine is made from a salvaged seat from a car, and attached to a makeshift wooded frame. the desk is made of an old door on crates. Great for "rags to riches" stories.

I do use mods. I try to keep them as necessary as possible. Fried chicken is not necessary. I think that it would be liked.

Nah... I don't think it will get old anytime soon. My first werewolf sim is a total dog too! LOL Finally, a little bit of fun for the boring festivals. My sim has disrupted the festival of light, the festival of youth, the romance festival, finchwick fair, and one night of the talent night at Orchid a-go-go!

If a recipe calls for tomato, and you have canned tomatoes instead of fresh, the recipe will use the canned ones. It works best with grocery delivery. Irl... not everyone is xx or xy. Some people are xxy or xyx. There are other combinations too. It is called "intersex" and approximately 1 in 500 people have a third chromosome. I made it into a residential. However, it's logical in my game. This is the first world since Sulani, where Mermaids even come close to being usable. @cyncie A visit to the islands... I will give you a travel tip.... do a Google search for "ABC Stores" That is the touristy places. That part of Hawai'i can be and is fun. It is a bit more authentic if you go places where there are not "ABC Stores." LOL

I think the point of the OP is that Ea seemed to focus on Island Living, rather than, Island Vacationing. As a resident of the real life Sulani, I was glad that it wasn't based on hotels and resorts. People actually LIVE in Polynesia, not everyone here is on a vacation,

I used the highchair only a few times at first. I got so frustrated, then I discovered that toddlers will use living chairs and sofas, and get their own plates of food... I never looked back, never used the highchair again!

I agree about the phones, BUT IF, they gotta have phones, then at least let other sims call them...one of my sims was friends dating a ghost....he got calls from the ghost, but he couldn't call the ghost!

I usually put a few undisguised aliens in my saves...and it seems to allow the other randomly generated aliens to walk around undisguised.

My experience with free range chickens is that they simply wander around, even off the lot, kinda drawing your sims lot into the surrounding environment...I thinks that's kinda cool!

I usually download from the gallery for inspiration...I will find something that begs me to have a closer look, I will plop it on the appropriate size lot and check it out for new ideas in my builds. I like to build and decorate, even the few maxis homes that don't get tore down get a lot of changes before I'm happy.

Yes. I like to have multiple lifestates in my game. The plant sims are half finished IMO. I most definitely would like to see them upgraded, so that they can be a proper lifestate.

Maybe you have to do it at the spa for it to count. I haven't tried that aspiration yet, but when I was reading the requirements for it, my first thought was I had to send my sim to the spa to do that. I could be wrong. Its just a thought. Hopefully someone who has completed the aspiration can give you better info.

The shelves that attach to the walls are bugged....It happens with potions from ROM too. The shelf units that sit on the floor work though.
