  • I once locked my sim's wife in a room that was only big enough for a treadmill and her to stand beside it. Not even enough room to pass out from lack of sleep. In case you are curious, it took her nearly 5 sim days to die. (she had a piece of fruit in her simventory that I didn't know about. I'm usually nice to my sims but…
  • Everything but the rent one. (which will have to wait til next year) Not broke, but just bought a house and then the Holidays happened. In "tighten the belts so you don't go broke" mode RN. :)
  • I chose Hannah because I never personally play with pets. I love them and the Sims 4 version are adorable and fun, but somehow I always leave them out of my families so I chose her because I think it might be fun!
  • I feel your pain here. This is off topic and I'll say I'm sorry for it but I wanted to share with you. I was watching my screen (sims all at home living their homebody lifestyle) and I watched my garden plants all reset. Every. Single. One. Of. Them. So, now after Horse Ranch launched, being home doesn't seem to matter.…
  • I'm really not sure and would be interested in the answer to this as well. It happens fairly often in my game too. Usually, it coincides with my sims getting to know/becoming friends with them. I think I just assumed after you get to a certain friendship level the game trades them out for whatever reason but that doesn't…
  • I am 45 years old and have lived my entire life only having been "Dazed" a small handfull of times (Usually due to some terrifying thing my kid did that landed her in the ER) WHY is my sim DAZED every single time she Goes to work, Focuses on "Unfun tasks", or does anything that's necessary but not terribly entertaining. I…
  • I've only lightly followed from posts here, but I think a legend is a legend and he won't get any more legendary by driving you to juice ;)
  • a game console because once they've fished, slept and looked for bugs and flowers, they'll need something to do!
  • I used to play on super short but have since started using the longer "normal" length lifespans.
  • I just really don't use them. They make me sad. They're like the dine out restaurants that I don't use since I had my legacy sim die there waiting to stop glitching out and get to eat food. The clubs don't work right in my game for some reason. I'm a total CC junkie so it COULD very well be my fault they are glitchy and…
  • I probably won't unless there's a lot more than meets the eye. 40 seems a bit high for what looks like little more than a game pack? I could be missing something major but it looks like a few activities and a neighborhood. We get that with the smaller game packs.
  • I don't think I really know what I think will be perfect for Sims 5. I'd like to have a game similar to The Sims 2 with updated graphics. That said, I have The Sims 2 and can just go play it if I have a desire to do so... When I go play Sims 2, I miss being able to multitask (the eating/drinking while on the toilet thing…
  • I've already posted and taken the poll for this, but the truth is, as Sims 5 gets ever closer, I have no idea. Both depend on knowing what I'm buying and I think I just won't know til they are out and being played by other people who can let us all know how they are.
  • I'd love to see the Beakers, Smiths, Grunts, Spectors and Curious'. I loved Strangetown from Sims 2 and even though some of them made a cameo in later games, they were never really a part of them. I'd love to watch them transform into a new generation of Sims game.
  • At this point, simply a single player version of it. I've enjoyed every (Nearly. I hated Sims Online) iteration of The Sims so far. They've all been unique and special for their own reasons and in their own ways; and, I have every expectation that the team can pull out another great game for the franchise.
  • Its VR or online. I don't own a VR set and don't think I'll be purchasing one just for the Sims, and I'm not interested in playing a dating sim. I don't think the team intends it to be a dating sim, but by the nature of what the sims is, a life simulator, that's what it would become in the event that you want your family…
  • If its done in the same vane as so many Sims projects before it, no. I'd feel pretty bad about paying 100's to a thousand on games and game packs, content packs, stuff packs, etc... then having to pay again to play it. That said, I have a sneaking suspicion that 5/Rene will be an online version of the game; therefore, I…
  • Yep, had this issue too and then when I was finally able to install all my store worlds and extra items like the playpen, I'm finding I have to redownload and install them every single time I play which sucks because now my game runs horribly because there are many many multiple copies of everything downloaded. Haven't had…
  • Thank you Rsanda. I was really worried that I'd not be able to access them if I ever had to reload my game. I'm glad to know its completely separate. <3
  • I don't really know/am not really sure how long I've been playing sims. I know I started when The Sims Livin' Large launched. Back then I played on a Mac though so I had to wait longer for expansions for Aspyr Media to port them to Mac. Somewhere along the lines I switched to PC then Maxis started making them Mac…
  • Back in the day I used all the mods all the time and had gigabyte after gigabyte of cc and mods for my sims games. These days, I use just the repair/enhance mods like the NRAAS suite of mods for SP and optimization and MCCC.
  • I've grown rather fond of the puddings over the years. They're not always beautiful, but can be, not always ugly, but can also be that. They'll always hold a special place in my heart :D
  • I used to try to create my sims to look like people I know, then I realized I have Zero talent for that, so now I just push and pull those features around til I get something I can live with. Totally random. I pick the skin, hair, and eye color that I feel fits best with the features I've chosen. Same with clothing. I…
  • I've had that bug on and off since I first got the game like, the year after it launched. I may be wrong here, but I just don't for-see them fixing this one. Its been a part of the game for too long without them caring about it. My personal work around is that I just simply don't leave the lot when I'm shooting for a…
  • I create then marry NPCs. NPCs always get makeovers though, without exception.
  • At the risk of asking stupid or redundant questions, did you check your household inventory? I don't know why it happens in my game, but it does...for some reason my third baby always gets sent to the household inventory in build/buy mode...
  • The fire department still shows up on my lot. As long as there's a fire alarm installed anyway.
  • Reloading, as Gagea says, will work if you have an earlier save file to reload to. ...Have you looked under things in the kitchen? I know that sounds dumb, but I've had glitches where my urns and other things accidentally spawned under countertops or appliances (usually when I've been building and placing decor with move…
  • Kiddo work boots? :D Years and years ago, there were a pair of cc ones for kiddos and toddlers for Sims 3 that I never played without downloading. There were others, but not like the ones for adults. You're right, they make downloading that kit worth while for me too. Going now! :)
