So I got to the last apartment in switch three and it kept giving me an error when I tried to play the family in it and kicking me to the neighborhood screen. I could enter in build mode though. It might have to do with the floor missing in extreme mode. I built the walls and floors and was then able to enter into family…
Yea, I'd been playing all my sims I just got confused on the wording. Whew. Speaking of, I just finished everything (except for my heir growing up) of Switch Two so I went and read the rules for Switch Three and at the very end it says: So I need to make sure the heir doesn't have more than level 3 in any skill? Or I think…
I've been secretly reading all your posts and I love your legacy. And that last chapter was a great idea! I'd never thought about that and I'm sure it was appreciated rather than the alternative!
@Dglbr1969 Oh no, sorry you lost all your saves! I have the link to her blog for the rules for house three. Here you go! @illusie I thought about stopping a bunch too. But I find that I have more fun when I write it up, even if it's just a a little bit. Even if nobody reads it! I like going back and looking over all my…
@illusie I do the same thing with families I really like. I think sometimes I take too many pictures! I've never made my sims go on a date to a festival! I don't know why I haven't ever thought of that. I normally just send one, or ignore the others if I send more than one sim.
@illusie Glad they got married! I had one couple where she kept saying no so I just let them not get married before they ruined their relationship. They're really cute, I bet they are going to have the cutest family. Also, one of your pictures has "Click here to edit" above it! Not sure if you saw that but I thought I…
Ah, this is fun! I spent a great deal of time in my Drifter challenge impatient to start this one, but I knew I wanted to continue on to it. Just finished the first Switch, apart from waiting for my heir to age up. I had a question on the second Switch-so any sim BUT the main sim is supposed to complete the aspiration,…
I like the way the house is coming along! Haha, when I got seasons (or shortly after) one of my sims was in the detective career. It's hilarious to go to a scene and just have a line of detectives slipping on ice!
@illusie Ah, I hope you can fit in the museum room too! My sim stole dishes and books a lot too. And chairs. He really liked chairs. Also, I don't know if it's my computer or not but none of the pictures for Chapter 15.01 would load for me!
Ah thank you! It was a fun challenge and a nice break from the legacy style I've been playing! Here's the pictures of the finished library, about the second day into winter.
I don't know the answer to the question (though I feel like a part of the challenge is the time frame you have to do it before your heir ages up) but I didn't know toddlers could sleep in tents! Though, to be fair, will they do so autonomously? I know older sims wouldn't when I did the challenge. Have they changed that?
I probably should have but I just ignored him. I'll probably kick him out for story anyways. Actually, I forgot to turn the community lot into a public lot and a huge family moved into the library, so I had to evict them and change the lot...Which worked out since I didn't realize until they were rescued and libraries…
I built the other house and some random old guy moved in but it's fine because I finished building all the lots! Right at the end of winter too. They should be happy to get rescued soon!
Gotta get one more residential lot then, and a community lot. After she has her shelter is she able to find more survivors (besides her spouse?) Or is it just another one if she doesn't get with one of the first two? I've been playing far too much today! Haha. So when Alice first started it took almost the entire spring…
Ooh, I can't wait to meet their baby. I really liked how you told their rescue! I had a question-they can't start a family until they build on all the lots right? So they need to build the other three residential lots and the community one first?
I normally sell my gnomes but I decided to keep them for that house just to see how many I would get. I hate losing gameplay! It'll put me off playing for a while most of the time. It mostly happens when I'm building and forget to save... I rarely built anything before this challenge but now I'm fairly happy with most of…
I’m just going to be starting this myself. I’m using the heir of my previous drifter challenge but I used cheats to remove her skills and will remove the bonus traits she got from growing up when I get to play again. It looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun.
