I'm so impatient because I can't play until it drops. What's the point? All I really do is build (usually) and have no urge to build until I can do ladders and alt place doors and windows!
I have to join the masses and say Thorne. I hate that dude. He's everywhere all the time stealing the spotlight with his horrible singing, nonexistent guitar skills or really just standing there like a proud peacock while I'm trying to get some fame. I think I need to go set him on fire.
No, your sims can still get famous but ONLY your sims (and sims who were already famous like Judith Ward). Otherwise the game will randomly make townies famous for no apparent reason and you've got sparkling famous people everywhere causing chaos.
If you feed them too much as babies they will be chubby toddlers. Feeding them every four hours is crazy, you should only feed them when they cry (and don't have a dirty diaper). On average I only feed my babies 2 or 3 times a day. Yes if they were real babies that would be nuts but these are sim babies, they don't need…
I've finished week one of the prison challenge. https://youtu.be/422v8ovA4fw My sim, Cecelia is creative, cheerful and neat - a terrible combination to live with a bunch of mean slobs but that was kind of the point. Initially, the challenge was much too hard with all the time limits I imposed so I had to change the rules.…
According to the countdown timer http://simscommunity.info/2018/11/01/countdown-to-the-release-of-the-sims-4-get-famous/ you still have 40 minutes or so to wait.
It varies by household. Give my druthers, my play style is very real. When my sims first wake up it's toilet/shower/brush teeth and then brew coffee and make breakfast while they watch the news. I have 'laundry days' and regularly change their outfits. As they get older I go in to give them graying hair or obviously dyed…
I create a family, but I already have a story in mind for them. The mother is an amazing singer in my head for example, so I use a skill cheat to get their skills where they 'should be'. During gameplay, I pause constantly to queue up actions for the entire family. They aren't allowed 1 idle second where I am not deciding…
You know how we can control whether or not they can impregnate or be impregnated? And fashion choice, male/female, pee standing or no? I think that menu needs to be expanded. Prefers Male/Female/Both And two more traits, Faithful and Frisky. Faithful sims, once they have a romantic interest with someone, will never develop…
I use them a lot for the royalty of each land. King and Queen Oasis Springs, King and Queen of Willow Creek etc. so that they can meet up for their royal balls and such. Then I have the children form their own group as well for royal play dates and such.
Okay so here is my homemaker, Emily Thompson. She's neat, loves children, and a foodie. She loves to cook and clean and wants a whole pack of children to take care of. Her aspiration is to have a big, happy family! I purposefully tried not to make her drop dead gorgeous, just pretty and sweet looking. I imagine she's very…
Summer has never been gay in any of my saves, she usually pairs off with J Huntington III. Edit: I don't think it was intended that way either, her starter blurb says she has feelings for Travis Scott.
In my played households, I don't bother adopting unless they are same-sex couples, even then, sometimes I have one of them get pregnant/knock someone up and say it was a surrogate or artificial insemination. Edit: Seriously? I can't use the correct term for male genetic material? That's like not being able to say mucus or…
I am a completionist, I buy everything that is put out for The Sims, but I am really leaning the other way on this one. By buying this, I am telling EA that this is okay. And it's not okay. It is not okay to sell me a lot of recycled recolors and stuff we should have gotten with C&D for more money. They aren't even trying…
I don't just mean the way they look. The way they act, the way their families interact with them, they way they interact with pets. I mean the gameplay is adorable. Frankly it's kind of a relief to feel something for my sims again. They got so nerfed in 4 the way they respond to tragedy (oh my wife died? Ah well, time to…
Personally I love the toddlers. I think they are adorable and I'm glad we have them. Yes, there are limitations when you have them, but you get a ton of compensation for it. Just my opinion of course, you're entitled to yours but I think you'll find the overwhelming majority of Camp A couldn't be happier.
This darling cutie is Chipper, a mixed breed. His adoring owner, Alea has had him since she was a little girl and he was a puppy, he's her best friend. Now she's a teen and Chipper is her constant companion. I'm dreading the day she has to tell him goodbye.
