  • Gemology will be an elective course at my magic school. There will be one spellcaster family dedicated to crafting magical jewelry and statues, and they'll sell them to a local occult shop. They'll get their material from a crystal forest in the middle of a rocky crystal land. I might get TOOL so I can dot that island in…
  • Tbh I was thinking that too lol. Not necessarily that we should get an m/m couple in a trailer, just that we're getting yet another femme, young adult couple. I'm hoping the lead sim is nonbinary or transmasc or something, but at least I can appreciate that they're more androgynous. They break the mold a bit. Meanwhile,…
  • Thanks for the opporutnity again I like the color red.
  • OH OKAY IDEA here me out on this one I surround a lot with sized-up crystals and junk. Like a mountain of crystals that encircle the lot. And if your sim manages to find a way around it, they can visit the monochrome land of crystal, play in the sacred healing waters (ie a pool), dance among the fairy lights (firefly…
  • https://twitter.com/SimMattically/status/1759975616697307356/photo/2 The crystal gnome. Ahh, now I want to make a crystal forest with crystal gnomes, a crystal cave and maybe even a crystal house somehow
  • Are are literally dozen of us. We're a handful, at least.
  • I'll buy it after the For Rent game corruption glitches are fixed. I'm playing other games in the meantime, so I'm fine with waiting.
  • It's more witchy than Realm of Magic. The gameplay isn't something I'll use very often, but it'll be great for spellcaster families. I'll make a spellcaster family that specialzies in growing crystals in their orchard, then selling enchanted jewelry to sims. There could even be a Gemology elective course for my wizard…
  • You're not denying. So was everything I said true, or only most of it?
  • Ohh that's a lot of variety at least. I would have liked to have been able to change varying patches to have different colors, since IRL vitiligo isn't always the exact same. But knowing there's some variety and context to it helps a lot.
  • Tbh I was kinda dreading vitiligo. It's like how people used heterochromia for their characters, back in the early 2000's. My dad has vitiligo on his hands, and it always makes me uncomfortable to see something so sensitive used as something quirky and fun. The rep is always good, especially for those who have vitiligo.…
  • Change is literally never good. Watch it all be part of their plan to consolidate things into smaller forums, slowly downplay them and give them less and less focus until they finally cut us off and leave major social media sites (ie Twitter and Discord) as the only viable way of official communication. They want to get…
  • It gets better. Break-ins are marked as base-game. I guess you could just wander into someone's home and pretend you broke in, but that's not actually breaking in. Vampires have a power similar to breaking in, but that's basically just unlocking a door and visiting sims at night. To properly break in (as in, a proper…
  • And also, you apparently need to buy 9 different DLC in order to complete it. And it costs $390-425 Canadian to do so. Thanks, EA.
  • I love the stairs/bookshelf combo. I wish we got a bookcase we could put inside walls to mimic this. Anyway, here's some concept art from Get Famous. I love the extravagant and showy shawls. They reek of luxury and class. I wish we got stuff like this. Yeah we'd have a ton of obvious clipping, but we get that with stuff…
  • I have almost all of my Sims 2 packs on my games shelf, along with Sims 3's base game, World Adventures (I went digital with Sims 3 after WA), and Sims 4 Snowy Escape. It's been 20 years and several moves since I had my Sims 1 packs, so they're all lost.
  • The 16th anniversary really spoiled us. We got gardeners, the Tragic Clown, the Grilled Cheese aspiration, and the Kleptomaniac trait. Tbh I've come to expect very little for the anniversaries, especially since the Sims 4's own anniversaries have been ignored for a few years now.
  • Alanna, after Alana Thompson, star of TLC's hit show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.
  • Honestly, the characteristic system is not that satisfying. It doesn't feel like your sims' parenting influences their lives and leaving them a better/worse adult for it. You have to hard grind it out to get the traits, and at that point it feels like I - me, the player - am doing all the work. it doesn't help that many of…
  • Even weirder, Home Chef Hustle - which came 3 months before it - isn't on sale. I know Stuff Packs tend to have much worse sales because they're cheaper, but it still seems notable.
  • None. Considering how they fumbled the first two make-overs, I don't want to see other families ruined. I thought the point of these make-overs was to make them more lore-accurate and similar to their traditional selves? Mostly in regards to skin-tone, but still. But then we got looks that not only look even more different…
  • I played for like a week and made some residential rentals, but I never got to play with it because of all the bugs. I haven't touched my game in nearly 2 months. Hoping for a patch to fight against the save corruption issues before I pick up the game again.
  • Save corruption still seems to happen even without modded games or using any cheats.
  • We also got an elderly gay couple in For Rent. High School Years also had Sidney Price (bisexual), who was the object of desire for Ash Harjo's ugly brother (gay.) As for Island Living, we got a young adult lesbian/wlw couple with a child. Also, I just remembered that the owner of Thriftea is a lesbian young adult.
  • Echoing the sentiments about the goth kit. It should have had more variety, been more bold. I get they might have wanted to play it safe and go with generic, so they could appeal to a wider variety of people. But they're pretty dull overall. I was hoping for less 2014 Goth Teenager on Tumblr, and more traditionally gothic…
  • We actually have ace rep, albeit a minor one: Savannah Price from HSY is aro and ace. Agreed that so many premades are safe and dull. And look at the more popular Sims 4 townies; Bob and Eliza are memorable largely because of their marriage problems. But in terms of drama, we do have Rahmi Watson cheating on her husband…
  • I know this is off-topic, but what's with Sims 4 and young adult lesbians/wlw? We got them in this pack, Horse Ranch, Cottage Living, Snowy Escape (via gameplay featurettes with Hina), Eco Lifestyle and Island Living. High School Years (which has a teen lesbian) and Growing Together (which has an implied wlw sim,…
  • It's disappointing that for four months, the only actual gameplay we'll get will come from a Stuff Pack. Since I doubt the SDX drop will have any. A third of the whole year for one pack and a bunch of fluff. Yeah, we got 3 EPs last year, but look how that turned out. And you just know the releases aren't going to be spaced…
  • 1. Vampires 2. Realm of Magic 3. Dine Out 4. Jungle Adventure 5. Werewolves 6. Spa Day 7. Parenthood 8. Strangerville 9. My Wedding Nightmares 10. Outdoor Retreat 12. Dream Home Decorator 90. Journey to Batuu The top 5 are also some of my favorite Sims 4 packs, period. Spa Day isn't, but I still like it a lot after the…
