I haven't picked this kit up yet, but I can already tell I'll need a new save just to Castle-fy several areas. Such a simple sparse kit and it's making builds just pop.

Those lots look really nice. I like the idea of turning the entire island in a medieval setting. The last picture reminds me of the wizard and doctor house in sims medieval.

yeah they're all based off buildings in Sims Medieval :) Tavern , Merchant , Wizard, Clinic I also have Blacksmiths place with stable (which i posted in last screenshot thread) but I forgot to screenshot other parts of it after spinning all around

with wizard tower/ clinic I made most changes actually since the original building was so very complex, we don't have leeches and also I wanted to keep bluffs pool thing and make it more of witchy club hangout :)

but yeah I've been trying to get the castle built and furnish these so I can share it all at once

hopefully I succeed this time

*sheepishly peeks head from around corner…

    Thank you @LiELF , @Atreya33, @LeucosiaX !

My plan was to respond sooner, say more than just “thank you” and upload the darn Pirate “castle” to the gallery when I said I would. Alas, Captain Big Mouth has been in absolute bits, sick as a miserable auld pooch - no it wasn’t scurvy, sure I eat bags of lemons….aye..perhaps that was the issue…Let’s forget about it all. Life’s good when you don’t have to live it on Planet Vertigo.

I’m almost ready to spend more time behind the screen and get back to building and uploading. Oh give it another 500 years…

I just want to say that all the builds in this thread are truly wonderful, and very inspiring! Great stuff great stuff and thank you! 👍🏼💚🏰

Oh I hate it when they abduct you to Planet Vertigo 👽 That place is way too sick, literally.
turning all lights off and lowering the heat and myself to the floor
usually helps with the sick swirling vibes that place gives me

and ofcourse getting some hydration and plenty of air would be good idea after trip to outer space 🛸

I hope Captain feels better soon and doesn't get abducted again
I'm sure we all can wait a little until Captains Dazed moodlets have passed 💚

@CAPTAIN_NXR7 I hope you feel better soon.

I do like all the builds. I am a mediocre builder but the swatches have proved to be very useful. Perhaps I will eventually get around to finishing my little build.

I have updated my rental castle in Henford with the castle kit items. I think it looks so much better, the weathered stone gives it character. Dungeons and cellars also look great. Hope they fix the stairs bannister so it doesn't show through the walls. Also, could have used some more arches with different sizes and maybe a closed version for the portcullis arch.

I'm currently turning Tartosa into Monte Vista, so I used the Castle Kit to build a castle from that TS3 store world ...

Ooh, I found a good place to put my castle...

I might have to build another castle in Henford! A very castley town.

I really like this. And it’s a great spot for it. What size lot is it?

I have uploaded it to the gallery now that I have play-tested it. It is slightly different from the earlier picture as I figured it would be more useful to have the water as a pond rather than a pool so that they can fish in it, being off-the-grid. You should also find a few crops dotted around to get your sims started with some food ;) My gallery I.D. is elliebreton

Excellent! Thank you for uploading it to the gallery! Your Rookery lives in Henford now! 😁

I've been tipping away at one of my Sulani "Medieval" builds aka 'The Cheeky Landlubber' - since yesterday.
Is it a castle? Some pirates believe it is. It's got towers...plus ye can store plenty of loot in this place and sure that's the main thing. It even has a "dungeon".

Castle kit is perfect for these builds! Doors, windows and textures mix well with Windenburg walls and BB items from Cottage Living & Batuu.
I'm still working on some of the interior, it should be on the gallery tomorrow if all goes well. As long as it doesn't sink we'll be alright. It has happened before, it has happened before.

Here's the view from the ocean.
    CL-03.jpg

This is the front of the "castle".
    CL-04.jpg

Front Door...also leads to the ehr..."dungeon".
    CL-02.jpg

Side view. The Wheels and Mills all turn and move. I love building places that seem "alive".
    CL-01.jpg

    Love this guy.
    Which guy?
The curious alien in the water tank.
    CL-05.jpg

    That is so cute!

I tried an experiment with the Castle kit. A couple of months ago, I placed several "Victorian" sims in homes/townhomes in Magnolia Promenade as a fun new save. So then, a few days ago, I bought Castle Estate and downloaded an empty shell for a small castle-style manor house. From that, I created a community Recreation venue for my Victorians--and any other sims who show up. 😁

Here are outside views of the renovated Manor House, converted into a rec center. Outdoors has a small pool, fountain, koi pond, grill, tables, benches, and small play area.

Here are a few screenshots I took while play-testing the venue with townies and my own sims. I still need to check a few other things as this is still a bit of a WIP. My engaged couple will get married here too. 😊
