    Buying Items in Own House?

    So, I’m known for being totally lazy and reusing a house I’ve built and saved whenever I restart. My Sim is playing chess and the rug had a clickable icon or whatever. Four options. Set markup, purchase, set sale and browse.

    The chessboard has a buy and browse option as well and I bet other objects do, too.

    How do I solve this? Or is it unique to me?

      It sounds like you're using the rugs from the Savvy Seller's collection that came with the Golden Ticket venue that allows players to create their own store. Of course the shop comes with the gold version of Midnight Hollow.

      I do not own Savvy Seller myself, not sure why I don't except that I just never got around to acquiring it. Meh, I'll catch up with it one of these days. But I just wanted to comment that the special rugs that come with it must be pretty awesome looking because from all reports it appears that a lot of players mistake them for ordinary decor rugs when setting up a home that is not intended to be a store. :)
