Description:
I got this idea for a study for an exchange student from my homecountry, Norway.
Neutral colors and natural textures are popular. A bit of blue contrasts nicely. I like simple lines, lots of natural light, candles and plants. We typicly like wood floors, and don't wear shoes indoor, so a nice rug is a must have. The leather chairs by the chess table gives the room a modern touch.

So the fika – a coffee break that normally consists of coffee or tea, cookies or sweet buns, but can also include soft drinks, fruit and sandwiches – is a social institution and an important part of the national culture. Description: Jane is expecting an exchange student from India and has made over a study for her use. The colours and decoration objects are meant to evoke India (reds, golds and saffrons) plus some hints of precious metals and jewel tones. The art that has been chosen also has an Indian feel. Several large potplants have been included to reference the Indian jungle / rainforest areas. The curtains and carpets are rich fabrics and are also meant to represent draped fabrics like in the Indian sari. Being a study - the room is also meant to be practical so contains a laptop, bookcase, seat for study companion and assorted filing and storage cabinets.
I went back and looked at it. Just funny that it's a globe, and a bar. I've used it a couple of times and never looked at the description, just from being so happy to see a globe that actually looks like a globe, unlike the table top globes in base game that are all misshapen and haphazard looking.
