This is a bit odd, as I think Resetting might help. Thing is, I can't even get a game loaded (save or new) to try sim resetting. So, that's apparently not an option.

So, I can't even use NRaas to focus on problem-sim.

Only thing I can think of honestly is last night (sometime just before I put my Puppy challenge thread up) when I told my game to quit, it crashed on quitting.

Your game crashed because it was totally out of resources. But these crash logs are usually not helpful, for example it doesn't tell us why it was out of resources.

ErrorTrap is barking about an undefined walk style. Do you have any mods that affect walk styles in play? If not, then any non-NRaas mods and can you startup your game with NRaas mods only, script cache cleared? Can you start up any game, saved or a new one, or is just this one save that has become a problem?

If you can't start the game program at all, you might need to pull the TS3 game folder out thus forcing a new one to be generated.

Edit: In case I wasn't clear about this before, generally assistance with script logs requires uploading them to NRaas and opening up a support thread, not posting them here.

All I have besides NRaas mods, is the pet eye replacements, PharaohHound Markings, and Dramatic Gamer's Sims 3 MODS, and Cmar's Pregnancy/Maternity mods.

I wonder if it could be related to some horses… Or horse coats? (like their fur) Though, those aren't mods exactly...

One other thing I did notice was that launcher put some pets under the Sims tab instead of Pets tab before installation.

Anyhow, moved out mods besides just NRaas, moved ScriptCache. And on waiting on the game to do it's loading stuff:
    "Exception raised
Unhandled page fault read on access to 0x00000014 at address 0x00e6e712"

@Igazor just changed my password for wikispaces for NRaas as I 'forgot' it, although "We couldn't verify your username and password. Please double-check them and try again." Wiki-stuff with needing more than one login if needed is just more frustrating to me than helpful...

I can guarantee you that not having a login requirement at NRaas wouldn't be helpful either as the message boards would fill up with spam faster than we could keep up and we would have no way of keeping potentially disruptive members out. Not that we have that many disruptive members, but we did try something like that in the past. Your computers and devices (browsers anyway) are supposed to be capable of remembering login IDs and passwords for you in most instances, but of course that's no help if you don't allow that or use several different computers/browsers to access a site that you don't visit all of the time.

I'm still not clear if the game is crashing upon trying to start up at all (the beginning sequence, before you choose which saved game to load vs. starting a new game) or if it's this one ongoing save that is crashing on loadup.

I figured it out, but yeah. And I certainly understand.

Anyhow, moved out Mod folder containing now-just NRaas, and clearing cache files besides DC folders. Suddenly game save loaded up with no crash! :open_mouth:
Going to test plopping back Nraas-only mod folder.

To clear it up: It was crashing on choosing whether to load a saved game or start a new one, so everything before that worked as expected. The loading screen after choice would get to nearly fully loaded bar before crashing.

Edit: Problem is in the Mods folder (Even if NRaas only). *Removes a .package that might be cause, tests*

After more testing, such as putting folder back but removing NRaas mods - game loads up fine.

    Reported over at NRaas.

So it doesn't matter which saved game you try to load up or if you start a new one with NRaas only in place? Am trying to determine if it's your one (or two) saved game(s) that are triggering the problem or if it's all across the board. Sorry if you've already answered this, I'm being a little dense tonight.

It's alright, better to double check or even triple-check sometimes. Weirdly, the crash is related to an NRaas Mod itself, which is a new one for me. No NRaas anything, no problem. Huh...

Okay, then the next question of course is which NRaas mod. But you probably haven't had a chance to work that out yet. The ET log earlier didn't happen to be the kind that lists out all of the ones you have in play with their version numbers like many of them do.

I'll work that out in a moment - enjoying my game, and getting more pics for story thread. But generally, which NRaas version should I use for Mac Sims 3? 1.67 as the launcher says or 1.69?
If wondering, I was trying the 1.67 versions where applicable of NRaas mods. :D

Do you have cupcake mod and no bakery installed? (Just a wild guess on my part.)

The only NRaas mod that has a different version for 1.69 over 1.67 is ErrorTrap. You would know if you have the wrong version in because you would get a core file mismatch warning on startup every time if so, but not a crash.

Yes, Cupcake without a properly working bakery set will crash the game on startup every time. So will the MC Progression add-on module if MC and SP are not both present.

@Karritz @igazor Surprisingly, I do not have Cupcake mod. I made sure to avoid that one on currently not having said bakery.

Well, got the pics I wanted and a few separate saves just in case…

Now to testing… *Just drops in MC, ErrorTrap and Overwatch*

Edit-Update: So, somehow someway apparently the base Master Controller got "deleted" -I know I didn't. Maybe the crash on quit somehow did?

Not going to mark this solved just yet, needs more testing. Anyhow I need sleep too.
