    Parenting books stop at Level 7?

    They get the Amateur Hour moodlet now with the 3rd book at only Level 7. Is it meant to be that way? I can't just max the Parenting skill while I have newborn twins, eh? Gotta learn the rest the hard way, I see...

      I don't know if it's meant to be like that, but I would like it if you had to actually socialise with kids to max it. That feels more true to real life.

      This is intended. No parent can learn everything from books. You have to actually be a parent to get to the top of this skill.
