So... I'm going to choose other; and go with a Hobbies Game Pack, though I'd prefer if it was a full expansion pack because I feel it should be bigger than Free Time, and add way more things from it, etc...

I would love some hobbies for my Sims as a group, or as a "solo Sim", to do around the house, outside, etc. Even with the new club system, this would be perfect because then we could have hobby clubs and be able to "make" stuff, show it off at some "show case " thing, or even have a competition, I don't know. Prize thingie, etc. (Something like that).

Would love to see some hobbies never done before, and also bring back some from the Sims 2.

    Pottery making
I would love to be able to make all kinds of stuff to use for "decor", furniture around the house. Even like picture frames and stuff. Plus, I think this would be cute for kids to do too, making mom and dad a flower pot, or something like that.. I remember when I was in school, even my little siblings did stuff like this.. and I made a jewelry holder type thing for my mom. :)

    Sewing/Crochet.
Sewing could also be something that they introduce for "Fashion Designer" Career. (Like with a Celebrity Pack; runway/models, like The Sims 1 Superstar type expansion pack.) I don't know.. if they could make it "fun", but either way.. sewing/knitting could be interesting.. as they could make quilts and stuff..

    Archery/Skill:
    Just because.♥

    Scrap booking:

Maybe some sports. (Volley ball, Soccer, A basketball hoop (Can play against someone/group, or even play like little games like "Horse",)

Dance: While I know we have this skill already... a bar for it would be cool, like in Sims 2.. and different types of dances could be added + more dances to the ones we have so far.

Bird watching (Could also tame/release birds if we had a pets expansion pack like in Sims 3).

I can't wait to see... what they come up with though. That last trailer.. has me a little confused. :(

An arcade pack would be awesome... A new recreational lot type + bring back the electronic basketball hoops, skee ball, pinball machines, old school arcade games that we had in TS3! Maybe even laser tag :)

But they will probably waste time giving us another dumb clown, or costumes.

Farm life needs an expansion pack not a game pack
Game pack can be specific to a particular theme like a casino, hotels etc

I love to see all this but for god's sake can we see first one of the popular themed EPs first? I really wonder when will The Sims 4 expand in the way the fans want it to! Something like University, Generations, Apartments, Pets, Seasons. Any of these. I want something substantial and game changing and at the same time more realistic.

We'll only get what they give us, and what they're giving us is new stuff mixed with old.

So we already got: Camping, Spas and Restaurants
They mostly focus on one core aspect of activity or a lot type.

    >>> I would like to know in what kind of Game Pack you are interested in! :)

Personally I would love a Hotel Game Pack, similar to Dine Out, just that you can lead and build your own hotel and assign rooms and set prices for them!

I made some examples to start discussion:
    •Hotels
    •Casinos
    •Supermarkets
    •Farm Life

I just want SEASONS...everything else is ok...farm life sound incredibly fun as does hotels. We need a grocery store like we had in Sims 3.

Some sort of vacation pack, to give Sims more reason to use those vacation days. That would open the door for hotel building/management for those interested. A beach resort would be nice (and could also bring back lounge chairs!).

A farm pack would be fun but I'd like to see that as an EP in conjunction with either Seasons (seasonal crops, return of greenhouses) or Pets (add farm animals to take care of in conjunction with the standard dogs and cats).

Hotels and Casinos can be combined into one game pack. So can Farming and Supermarkets. Why have four different game packs when we can have just two?

As for a pack I'd like to see, I think a hobbies game pack would be interesting. I feel like our Sims are in desperate need of things to do that don't involve partying. I would like to see a game pack that includes sports activities (like basketball, soccer, baseball, etc). It would also be pretty cool to see sewing and pottery making come back (like in Sims 2: Freetime). Maybe kids can do arts and crafts. Stuff like that. I feel like it should definitely be a game pack. It seems too big to be a stuff pack, but also too small to be an expansion pack. I think a game pack with stuff like this would be perfect!

Or once they bring in hotels then they could have Stuff Packs with content that can be used in either a stand-alone venue or in a hotel. A Casino SP with slot machines, poker tables and such, plus a Casino venue for those who don't have the Hotels GP but still want to take advantage of the content. Some people might want the hotel aspect but for personal/religious reasons don't want the casino content.

I've pretty much given up on TS4 (and I think EA has, too), but for TS5 (if they can get it together) it would be truly a wasted opportunity for the franchise if they didn't re-introduce pets and other animals and enlarge their footprint in the game. I'd buy up everyone of the following:
    • You could have a Sims My Big Zoo expansion (with a load of careers: zoo keepers, wildlife rehabilitation specialist, zoologist, park naturalist, and marine biologist careers).
    • You could have a Sims Salty Water expansion (with pirate and marine biologist careers).
    • You could Sims Farm Acres expansion with tractors, barns, farm animals (cows, pigs, horses, chickens, etc.), rotational crops, farmhands, etc.
    • You could have Sims Jurassic Park or Sims Historical National Park expansions with archaeologist/paleontologist/cryptid hunter/dinosaur cloner geneticist careers.
    • You could have Sims Traveling Circus expansions (with soothsayer and evil clown careers)
    • You could have a Sims Pet Shop expansion with veterinarian careers, dog catcher, dog/cat/bird breeding, and pet grooming careers.

    1) apartment life
    2) resort pack (basically the hotel but I prefer a resort because it sounds more vacayyy)
    3) school pack
    4) artsy pack
This would bring all the forms of art into the game like sculpting, dancing (ballet, contemporary and slow-dancing**, not the current dancing sims do because that is NOT art :fearful: ), singing, acting, more instruments, pottery etc. for a really cultural, diverse and expressive pack. It would include a lot of new hippie and artsy clothes, hair and furniture. Sims can form bands, throw a "cultural" party where the arts are celebrated and bring expressing themselves to a whole new level. Sims can also form a hippie cult that goes green on everyone with a new "hippie" trait and the return of recycling, spreading the love and being eco-friendly.
New careers can include interior decorating and stylist.

And I want a tropical beach EP, not a gamepack because if it was a gamepack, it would be a vacation spot and I want to be able to live there AND be able to have a vacation there if I don't by including a resort in the world*

I would probably opt for some new hobbies. Most ofthe other ideas seem too big for game packs - they would need to be EPs.

I think hotels and casinos can be included together. A whole pack dedicated to supermarkets or farms seems kind of bland to me. I think there should be amusement parks and waterparks
