How Do You Join A Yoga Class?

When I click on the yoga instructor & select a class, my guy just stands there. Only once has he actually joined a class & went through it. I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Is there something special you have to do to join a yoga class? Once the yoga icon flashes above the instructors head, what does that mean?

When the notification comes that a class will be starting, you can click on the instructor's face in the notification which will pan the game to the instructor and then you click on him/her to join the class.

Otherwise, if the instructor is in between classes and not doing anything, you can also click on them to ask them to start a class.

While you're at the spa, a notification will pop up that a yoga class is starting in 30 minutes (Sim time). Look for the instructor -- he/she will have a symbol over his/her head and will usually be in the yoga studio, and ask to join the class. There are three different ones -- one is brain boosting, I don't remember the other two.

Thanks for responding @fullspiral & @stilljustme2. But I'm not getting any notifications that pop up when I'm at the yoga studio. I have the option to click on the yoga instructor and 'ask for class' (& my Sim doesn't join, but stands there) but I'm not getting any notifications. This is such a bummer. My game must be glitched.

If you are not getting the notifications, try repairing Spa Day pack. To do that, you need to click the sims 4 picture, then click the little "i" button that is next to the play button, and that will take you to a screen that shows the Eps/game/stuff packs that you own. Go to the game pack section,right click Spa Day and click repair.

My sim just stands there aswell :'( it is very annoying, I have tried on all the sims in my game but none of them worked. Really hope this bug gets fixed in the next update

Hello @Frednextdoor. Try repairing the Spa Day pack like I posted in the above post and see if that helps.

Same problem here. No notifications. Can ask to start a class, but then can't join the class.......repair didn't work......

Make sure the mats are within the instructor mat foot print and give plenty of space between instructor mat and normal mats.

I created a spa venue as soon ad it is done I will put it in the gallery. I had problems with the students and my SIM getting stuck in the doorway because Sims can't reach a mat that a SIM is on so blocks the square around the door simple fix I just added another door to those mats and made sure the mat footprint was facing the door I also increased the room size a bit.

next time I went into the lot the mats were full.

If you have repaired game and this still happens, Your sim is just late! Sim cannot join to yoga class, when it's already started. Next time, try to be close to yoga class.

My Sim joins the class but then wonders off just before the Class starts and then can't re join.....So annoying.

I had this trouble until my sim leveled up in wellness, and then it started working perfectly after that.

I finally got mine to work. But now I have to do a repair with every new person in my household before they take a yoga class.

Each time the yoga class notification appears, I go right away to join the class and by the time I make it, the class has already started and my Sim is just standing on the mat doing nothing. I don't understand. Maybe I'm just late all the time?

Hello.
Yoga classes start 30 minutes after the notification of a class. It may perhaps help you if you wait until there is no yoga class, and ask the instructor to conduct one.

I wish the class notification was longer like maybe 60 minutes. My sim always miss the class unless she's in the room with the instructor.

Then i got the spa day pack i could do yoga by clicking the yoga person but now i have started a new game and have put the spa in the game i go to click the yoga person who has the symbol on top of there head nothing comes up and i get no notification about the yoga class is starting. p.s i have checked of updates and i have repaired the games but had does not work please can some one help me.

I am sorry that you are having this issue.
Try resetting the yoga teacher and see if that helps. To reset a sim, you can either type in
resetSim (FirstName) (Surname) ( without the brackets )
Or shift +click the sim and press reset sim.

If the issue remains, do you have cc/mods in your game? If you do, move your mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and test to see if the issue is still there.

Try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then copy back the "options.ini" and "ReticulatedSplinesView" files and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated files/ folders with the old files/folders from the desktop sims 4 folder .
