So my little brother got on my computer with out my permission and decided to mix up all my files and change their location. I put my sims folder back where it was suppose to go and noticed that I had to re-download 1 expansion and stuff pack and the sims 3 base game. So i re-installed the sims 3. Island Paradise and town life stuff will not install again. I will install it and it says installation complete, but it isn't. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

It sounds like a clean uninstall will be necessary in order to properly reinstall the games again. For instructions on doing a manual uninstall please refer to the following EA Support articles:

Please note that you may require Administrative access to perform the manual deletion of game files or registries. If issues persist with manual deletion, it is advised that you boot Windows in Safe Mode before trying again.
In addition, delete all files and folders located in Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3, though you may wish to back up your Downloads and Saves folder to a safe location first.
Expand the SOFTWARE folder (Wow6432Node for 64-bit systems).
I don't have a sims folder in the software folder or Wow6432Node folder ( i have a 64-bit system)
