    What do you do while your game loads?

    We all know it can take a while for the game to load. So I thought it would be funny to see what everyone's up to while their game is starting up.

    I usually go on the forums (my game is loading right now). I sometimes play stupid games on my phone while I'm waiting, like angry birds :mrgreen: What do all of you do?

      I just walk around, look for something to eat, make some coffee, etc. I never go on the forums because my game and the internet is soooo slow while I have The Sims 3 running.

      Sometimes some quick exercises like running in place, pushups or stretching.

      OR browse on my phone OR look at the ceiling OR just reading the tooltips (again)

      It normally loads quickly for me so I just sit and wait.

      Wow, some people exercise while the game is loading? I should probably be doing something like that too!

      Grab my coffee/ soda and a snack, make sure the dogs are settled down and happy, catch a news story on TV,update my Facebook status, check the laundry, text or make a phone call, write a grocery list... Lol,it takes FOREVER for my game to load! :shock:

      :D lol, I try to do them every time since I love to eat junk food while I'm playing, I know its counteractive but I think it evens out.

      @Wernardo, I should have known that I couldn't be the only one who exercises during the loading screens :-)

      @Feather91, Simming >>> is way over exercising in my book! :D But, it's a good way to change things up, since long-term simming seshes can be very sedimentary periods for me otherwise lol

      put it in window mode and browse the net.

      listen to pandora or npr
      browse facebook
      go in the other room and watch a tv show
      cook a meal
      browse the forums here
      play with my hair
      sigh in frustration and wonder why i play
      read some more
      play the finally loaded game

      Read manga or play games on my ipad. Although lately I've been crocheting a blanket. I guess it varies.

      Get in my car and do some grocery shopping, come home, read a book, and then maybe take a nap. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a tiny bit, but not much. I have way too much cc.

      lol. Pace from the dining area to the living room and back again, glaring at my monitor. It only takes a few minutes.

      Play Bejewelled Blitz or Jetpack Joyride on my iPad. Or run to the restoom so hopefully I don't have to get up so soon! :lol:

      I usually spend the whole time checking my Firefox bookmarks / forgetting that I was just logging on to accept friend requests.

      Go to kitchen, get snack and drink

      Play game

      That's typically how it works out.

      My cats are staring at me right now because I literally LOLed at that :lol:

      I usually play some little game on my phone or grab a snack. It doesn't take my game forever, but I'm certainly not lucky enough to be able to count to 30 and then play ;)
