    Floor Plan Challenge [Deadline to enter - 08/29/11]

    This time I think we should go for decorating!!

    There is the link for the floor plan in question.
    It would be cool to see what everyone does for decorating, and see everyone's style!

    Lets see who wants in!

    Deadline for all entries - Monday, August 29th
    Deadline for all finished projects - Monday, September 5th

      I'll give it a try, but it will look kind of different, i don't have spiral staircases.

      this may be a dumb question...but what does Veranda mean?

      Essentially a balcony with a roof. See where the first floor has the large porte-cochere (aka, porch)? The veranda extends out over that.

      Looks like another challenging floor plan and will definitely drive me nuts. In other words I'm in. :) I've got more time to kills so might as well use it creatively. What are the deadlines?

      Well as this one is starting to drive me nuts, im going to say deadline to enter will be Monday of next week, and deadline for finished product will be the Monday after that! Ill add the deadlines to the first post!

      I think you may get more people participating if you choose a floor plan that isn't so huge/complex. Some people may have time to build the entire house in that amount of time, but most people are going to find that hard to complete.

      This isnt a porch

      porte-cochere is a term used for a covered entrance to a building which a car (or horse and carriage way back when) can pass or park under.

      I would do this but I'm pretty much up to eye balls in builds at the minute. Plus not a huge fan of the castle look its got going on.

      This looks like fun! Quick question before I enter.. If I do enter but don't finish it before the deadline will I get a demerit? Haha, I'm just wondering because I just started school and not sure how much Simming I'll be getting done.
      I would like to enter and try it out :)

      rebeccam744 - No you will not. This is all for fun, the deadlines kind of give us some time to see if we can complete it. At this point I dont think even I will be able to complete it in this time lol. But dont post any progress pictures until after the deadline.

      LittleV - People will do it if they want too. If you dont want too, dont. Theres no harm in posting a large blueprint.

      Wow, that house is gorgeous. It looks kind of like a castle. I don't know if I could do it justice, but I'll try! Count me in! :)

      I'm enjoying building the house! Nice challenge :)
      I've been having problems with the land slope, I can't get it the way I want but it's sort of working haha!
      Can't wait to see how everyone else handled the slope!

      Slope? What slope? Hehe

      Anyway I finished the floor plan, finished the outside walls and the windows. I have moved on to decoration.

      My big issue is the roofs, but roofs are always my biggest issue.

      So I decided to post some photos of what I have so far and I don't know how to do it, lol. I print screened and pasted into photoshop and it came out black. Is the only way to take the photo through the camera option in the game?

      It's past the due date so I thought it would be okay to post :) It's not complete, I need to fine tune the interior and I haven't done any landscaping.
