Sims are REPEATEDLY freezing in Bridgeport - anyone else having this problem?

My Sim family in Bridgeport keeps getting stuck about every 30 Sim minutes. When I reset them, they usually disappear - their picture is still there, but they're invisible. I reset them again and they'll usually pop back up.
The bad thing is if I reset one Sim and the other two in the house are doing something, THEY get stuck, so I end up having to reset all of them 2 or 3 times. It's to the point of where I can't stand to even play them anymore.
At first, I thought it was a mod, so I went back to my Barnacle Bay family and they're playing perfectly.
I'm not sure if this is one of the many Bridgeport bugs or if this is just happening to me. Any ideas out there?
