    Vampire last names?

    in The Sims 3 Stories and Legacies
    Hi, I'm doing a vampire legacy and wanted to know what are some cool vampire last names? Something unique, that I won't get tired of. For example, not Cullen (Twilight), "Fangs", or something of that nature. You can suggest first names if you'd like too :) Thanks!

      For my vampire sim in the NTNM my sims surname is Cruorem which is latin for blood

      I used Vadoll for one of my vampires, because I tried to make her look like a doll so I just combined doll and vampire. I think it actually sounds pretty cool.

      I understand why you wouldnt want Cullen lol x I only use it in my Twilight Legacy cause its a Twilight legacy...
      Anyway, here are some good ideas: Dashkovari, Dragomir.
      Personally I think names that sound more Romanian are good surnames - not trying to offend! - so maybe somewhere in that direction =]

      whenever i'm looking for a certain type of name (last & first) that i want to be unique, i go to google language & use the different languages. i use Finnish a lot. i just type in different English words from the theme i'm looking for & have it translate into another language. in Finnish, fire is tuli (at least according to Google. i like that one a lot)

      Bit of a historical bit coming up :lol:

      How about "Tepes" - The character of Dracula was based on a Romanian Knight called Vlad Tepes.

      Or "Bathory" - Elizabeth Bathory was someone who bathed in virgin's blood to keep herself young.


      or there is a HUGE list of fictional vampires HERE Theres gotta be one on there that fits, right? Lol!

      I always thought the name Gwenivere could sound quite Vampire-ish.

      "belmont" from castlevania is the only thing that comes to mind... although it's not a vampire name in the franchise lol

      I used "Du Marais" for my vampire family's last name. I stumbled upon this wiki page and just liked the sound of the name. :)

      Other languages are the way to go. Amara Rena is Latin/Roman and means "unfading" and "reborn" which I felt suited a very old vampire. Got those names from this list: http://www.20000-names.com/female_latin_names.htm
      Not at all sure about its accuracy but for names for Sims I'm not as fussy as when I'm writing stories so this is a great resource as you can plug in several different languages. Have fun! :)

      Sanguine it comes from the Latin for Blood Cruor or Cruoris is Latin for blood flowing from a wound would be my choice. Or you could go german with Nachtzehrer (night waster) or Blutsauger (blood sucker). I like the Germanic sounding names although I think my vamp was something De Silva.
      You can call me smustle or Lori if you prefer.

      Oh, yeah! And "schreck" is german for scare/fright/fear. :open_mouth:

      I love Bela Lugosi's accent. "Blood" becomes "blah!" :lol:
