I think the gophers are actually prairie dogs, which fits the theme of the world. Hope my sims run into them often as they are adorable!
I’d think they look more like prairie dogs to me (head shape and the fact that their burrow entrance is more like a mound). It’s possible they’d almost be ground squirrels as well (our ranch — I’m West Coast — is infested with ‘em) but they do look more like prairie dogs.

My ranchers are all ready! When I do get to play I'll probably be building up the new world for a few days little by little,especially since I'm having a hard time finding things on the gallery since the new update.

I'm a fan of Highlander The Series. And one of my favorite story arcs was the Horsemen arc where Methos and a few of his other Immortal buddies were basically tyrannical warlords. And Methos had a white horse, because he was of course Death.

Totally agree!! I needed horses so badly and have been waiting eons, hoping each and every time a pack comes out that it will have horses. And they are coming!! So soon. I can't wait to actually play some of my saves that have been languishing in limbo because knights need their destriers and my horse culture folks need the very creature that basically defines who they are. And defines who I am. The horse-crazy gal who loves Star Wars (and now with Horse Ranch and Batuu, my simself is complete)
