Pretty sure it's in the "other" section of the settings profile. Might be one of those settings you have to apply for each save or something. Edit: Yeah.. it's in game options "other" and then uncheck "Controls Overlay Reminder"

Keyboard and mouse controls seem to work great. Exactly like on pc. The menu and controls can switch seamlessly back and forth between controller and keyboard/mouse.. which is interesting to say the least. On the back there are 2 (at least on the xbox one S.) Obviously if you are already using them for external drives or whatever you won't have enough.. You could always get a usb hub but I have no idea how effective those are. You'd definitely want to do a little research so you get one that others have tried and say works…

Yeah both the ps4 pro and xbox one x are still outrageously priced.. If new consoles are truly coming out in the next couple years then it's not worth it to buy either the pro or x. Just keep on using your old systems and save up for the new consoles.

States you need a wired usb connection (or I guess at least a usb dongle for wireless.) but doesn't state that you need to own anything special so I'm assuming anything will do. Nothing else announced? I mean spa day is great and all but I really just want to catch up to pc. Figured that they'd at least release Pet Day Stuff as well.. (not that it's anything that anybody really cares about.) Even caught up we'll probably still be a month or two behind their updates and releases.

Yes, too many events... it makes sense if you are in a celebrity career and want to get an award but if I have the option to opt-out of stardom turned on and none of my sims are in the spotlight then I shouldn't get the notifications on the calendar. Ahh.. I'd really try building something in Newcrest just to test it out. Maybe even good enough to simply set a premade lot down and do some testing to see if famous sims show up. I've gone to my Newcrest bar a lot and never had any fame troubles.

First take a look at the lot traits and make sure "Up and Coming Hot Spot" or "Hottest Spot in Town" aren't on there. Yeah.. I've never actively tried for points but I've apparently earned 20,586 of them. Guess I'll just save up for a years worth of Live or something. I wonder how long I've been earning points? Apparently they expire if you haven't earned or redeemed any in 90 days.

Yeah, they are just random townie NPC's and don't seem to have any specific programming related to the job they are supposed to be doing.. They maybe some very basic tweaks to a.i. but nothing as specific as in past games.

I'll definitely buy it because I guess I'm addicted to buying every stupid thing that comes out. I have no idea how much I'll like it until I actually play it. I'll most likely enjoy some aspect of it.

I have aging on.. I simply create new sims and move them in to places if a household becomes empty.

Seasons, vampires and parenthood are probably my favorite. .. I guess my least favorite would be Laundry day stuff maybe? but that's mostly due to me just not using a lot of stuff from that pack simply because I don't want to do laundry.

No matter how many drawings I do I can't complete the Artistic Prodigy challenge. Stuck on 4/5 drawings and I've drawn each picture 5 times. I have level 10 creativity and I've unlocked all the drawings. I guess my poor kid is just doomed to a life of never being able to reach her final goals.

There is another toggle switch in settings that turns aging on or off.. If you don't want your sims to age at all use this toggle.
