    Animal Lifespans

    I'm just wondering if anyone else is having pets that live way over their life expectency. I'm not upset over it, I just think it's wierd that my elder cat has lived 30 days over her life expectancy. Is it a glitch or is my cat just supercat? :)

      My pets have not reached elder status so I'm not very sure...

      I found out though that letting a pet eat gourmet food will turn back the life expectancy by 1 day every time they eat.

      and I had a dog that lived like 15 days past the max. i was slightly annoyed lol but thats fine. Dogs have varying lifespans 2 ;) I wish they made little dogs live longer than big dogs like it is IRL.

      If your sim has the Animal Expert trait, your pets of any kind will live longer. I find that very appealing! :mrgreen:

      Thanks so much. All she eats is gourmet food, so that must be why.
