What Am I Doing Wrong? RESOLVED

I very much wanted to have a Sim from one save be able to be in a new save. I have tried taking the Sim and her family into CAS, then saved them to My Library which ultimately, I thought, placed the information into my Tray. However, even though I have transported said Tray into the new game, whenever I search My Library, she is nowhere to be found. What am I doing wrong?

I should note that I also uploaded builds from the older save and was able to have those show up in the new saves My Library, so apparently, it's just the Sim who is playing hard-to-get.

Thank you in advance for any helpful tips you give.

You might use the "save as" option which makes your present save into a new save.
After that, you need to ignore the other households. That's about that, I guess.

I do the Save As thing every time I begin a new gaming session. That's supposed to keep a save from getting corrupted. I have so very many Save As, that I began a brand new save in a new Game Folder, so they're not even remotely connected. Doing my best to resist game bloat. But thank you for the response!

If there Is any CC items on the Sims you saved you need to check the Include Custom Content check box to see these households. This happens to me quite a bit when I'm transferring Sims around. I always forget.

Thank you. She is wearing some cc hair. I totally forgot about that. Thanks! I'll go in game and try again.

Few weeks ago I forgot that check box too... wondered where my sim was, saved him over and over again, not to be found...

.....oh yeh, cc, lets see...14 times he was there , oops

I don't feel so bad. Thanks. Oh, and once I selected that little box. Voila, my Sim was there. Yay!
