World:

Another mediterranean coastal world, but in this case, it will be based in Egypt. Al Simhara returns from TS3 World Adventures.

CAS: 75 new assets including hair, nails and clothes

B/B: 75 new assets, new gameplay objects included

Gameplay items:
  • Charming snake basket: from TS3 World Adventures, a new activity object.
  • Jewelry station: from TS3 Store, a new object to craft either jewelry or perfumes.
  • Ostrich shed : a new exotic farm animal, used to harvest eggs and feathers... and trade for meat

Occult:

The mummy from TS3 World Adventures returns, including the curse death.

In contrast with TS3 counterpart, TS4 will have two states, like mermaids: a "more human" form that resembles Acient Egypt stetic assets like hair cut, tattoos and makeup, and a true form that resembles TS3 mummies (the ugly ones).

Normal form:

Imhotep-The-Mummy-Returns-high-priest-imhotep-10550807-720-480.jpg

True form:

I don't care much for mummies, they look gross. I don't know how popular ostriches are as food in Egypt, but I would like to see hippos in the Nile and some kind of camels or dromedary. Would be nice if they expand on the archeology skill though and I would love to see a souk type of market. I would love if they added belly dancing. And collectible scarab amulets. They could also add crafting of brass and copper pots and pans and maybe mosaic inlays craft, where you get to create beautiful mosaic designs on a table, bench, or on some pavement or wall. Also, hope we get more colourful lamps.

    Here's my thought, how about:
Ramese like in the 10 Commandments
    King Tut
    Sethi
Ra like in the Stargate Motion Picture
    Hathar
    Cleopatra Queen of the Nile

Hell yes to mummies, they're basically magic zombies, they can summon scarabs and sandstorms, and use a curses to cause droughts and kill crops with locusts, and give them a scared moodlet around cats like in the film The Mummy staring Brendan Fraser.

Also we're on the Topic of Egypt can we replace Grim's model in the Egypt world with Anubis, since he's basically the Egyptian Grim Reaper, who instead of using a scythe uses scales, a feather and possibly plasma fruit to judge dead sims, I doubt people will feel comfortable seeing their sim's heart on display.

Egypt is such a mood. "I met a traveller from an antique land"

I'd like to have Egypt back in game it honestly was a lot of fun in Sims 3. I would do it much like World Adventures I think with exception of the hostels was almost a perfect pack. I have a few other things in mind as well. I've actually visited there so I have a few ideas on what I'd like to see.

When I come up with pack ideas I usually like to be thorough so I included a new career, harvestables and lots of things to see and do regardless if you are a family player or if you like the adventure aspects.

We actually have it in get to work where sim "accidentally takes it out" as like that  style heart soo id say we can use that same model heremaxresdefault.jpg

Also I loooove the activity ideas @redrogue60 gave

especially camels would be so fun

(maybe we could also milk them? idk i kno nothing of camel functions but it sounded like it would be a thing)

and weaving carpets would be sooo nice

also magic carpets could maybe be only found in tomb originally but once you have found it you can weave it (maybe you need a magical ingredient of some kind?)

+ i do want snakecharming and tombs back so bad

and i would love busy looking marketplace to buy some local stuff

there could also be chance of getting robbed some simoleons by local thief or the prices could hike up like crazy if you are not careful

oh and as for the tea yes please but it really should be functional tea set this time dang it

aaand YES MUMMIES COME BACK TO MUMMY

aaand egyptian dance with egyptian instrument (+radio channel) be lit

edit: and yes i'd live for curses and disasters and also just common desert sandstorms and weather problems

Sims 3 World Adventures has always been a favorite for me! Especially Egypt with all the tombs and mummies! I agree with Simmingal: I want all of it right now! Whenever I am getting bored with other games, I automatically start thinking of adventuring in Sims 3. It would be a great addition to Sims 4 if done anywhere near as good as Sims 3!

I wouldn't want them to add a real country that exists in the present day and have it be just for foreigners to vacation in and dig up ancient history.

It was in Sims 3. In fact it was in Sims 4 it just wasn't named after a specific country.

Wouldn't want them to add real country inspired world and not look for inspiration in its history, culture and stories made about the place.

    Regardless of country.

even if it was inspired by my backyard id like to imagine there was something cool to do there even if realistically i never do anything interesting there.

+ sims worlds never were meant to be perfect copy of real world

I don't believe any game can truly capture real life culture, history, etc of any place in real life. Sims stories, just like books, tv shows and movies that take place in real life countries are fictional and not meant to be exactly like real life. The countries in World Adventures were enjoyable and I especially loved the tomb explorations. So I agree with you Simmingal. The worlds in sims are not meant to be a perfect copy of the real world, but meant to be a fictional place for your sims to enjoy and explore. But I do believe real life does inspire those who create these fictional places, whether for a book, game or show/movie.
