Counters have disappeared from buy mode?

Everytime I go onto counters in buy mode, they all load then after a split second they all disappear and I'm only left with the counter islands. I don't know what's happening, ive restarted my game many times.

Is it just the thumbnail pictures of the counters that are disappearing, thus leaving a catalog object in place with a blank square where the image used to be, or does the total number of items under that category actually decrease as you watch it happening?

The actual items disappear from buy mode, i can get a counter if i use the eyedropper tool if I use it on a counter thats already there but I can't place any new ones.

Odd. Try going into your Sims 4 folder and deleting cache files. Maybe it got corrupted somehow.

    Wrong game. :)

But yes, deleting the five cache files on the top level of the TS3 user game folder (in Documents) is always a good idea. I was going to suggest deleting the contents of the Thumbnails folder as well, but perhaps that's not what is blocking things here.
