    Game Keeps Minimizing

    Heya everyone! I recently tried to play the Sims 3 but when I tried to play it, the game kept on minimizing all by itself. It would happen every couple minutes. It has gotten quite annoying. Does anyone know how to fix this

      The game minimizing to the taskbar all by itself usually means that another program running in the background is taking Windows' attention away from the game, the usual culprits being anti-virus/malware. If you have yours set to run automatic scans while the game is in play, perhaps that could be switched off temporarily to see if the problem stops?

      I recently had this problem, too. Although, mine only minimized once, thank goodness. I've never had this problem before.

      It could also be Windows Update doing that now that I think of it, and on Win 10 if that's relevant there is probably no way to stop those from happening whenever they want to short of cutting off the computer's Internet connection.
