Lost control panel

I just built a church/wedding venue. When I made my sims go there. The control panel disappeared so I couldn’t control them I couldn’t even go on the part where you can save game. Does anyone know how to fix this. I had to control alt delete to close the game.

When you reloaded the game, was the panel back again ?
If it is, try testing by going to the venue again and see if the same issue occurs again.

Is it possible that you accidentally hit "tab?" Or am I misunderstanding your issue?

When I reloaded the game I was able to go back to the lot with the sims via visit lot with sims

That is good. You may have just accidentally pressed the tab key by mistake on the other visit to the venue,

The same has been happening to me . I'll make a sim , go into build mode or just try and take a picture. And i'll try to go back to normal game play and my whole control panel is gone plus my options at the top of the screen , i cant do anything. I'm not hitting tab either.. i end up having to restart my whole computer and start over.

If you have cc/mods in your game, move your whole mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and see if the issues are still there. If it has helped with the issues, put your mods/ CC back into the newly generated mods folder that is in the sims 4 folder one by one or in batches and testing after each one to see which is the causes of the problem.
If you have the UI Cheats extension mod , it would be best to remove the mod and download/install the updated version that has been released since the patch.
Some Custom careers have been broken by the latest patch so it would be best to also remove them and see if there are updated versions of the careers.

If the issues still remain, repairing the game may help. To do that, go to games library in Origin, right click on the sims 4 picture and click repair
Try deleting the cache files and see if that helps
