Missing Items

Hi there.
Not sure if this is related to Seasons/a patch or just random but I have been experiencing missing objects over the last week - firstly when downloading Lots from the gallery it will occasionally tell me a few objects have been removed as they are not owned (I have all packs and free updates). Not sure what objects have vanished when I am downloading Lots but it seems rather strange.
Then today I downloaded the Maxis created Simmons family and got the message that items had been removed. I realised that, on this occasion, it was the pants that the teen girl is wearing:
I know they were in my game before, as I have downloaded and played that family in a previous save.
Anyone else had this happen?

Do you think that is what happens with downloaded Lots? The game removes items for some reason but they are still in my game?
