THis is the second weekend I can't download my store purchases

I've been playing Sims 3 logged into Origin for the past month or so. This weekend and last weekend, when I start my game The Sims 3 Launcher has me logged out. The Launcher is set to log in with the state of the game. When I try to log in it won't let me. There is no Error Message, no Invalid Password or Login ID. I can log into my Origin account on the Origin and Sims 3 website. I can't log into my Origin account within the Sims 3 launcher for downloading my store purchases. I can see my store purchases but when I click on the Download button the Sims 3 Launcher login pops up. I enter my Sims 3 ID and my password and nothing happens. WHAT IS GOING ON?

Try clearing all your browser caches, including for Internet Explorer. Even if you never use it, TS3 does for certain purposes. Make sure you uncheck the box to "preserve data for favorites" as well. Then change your password and see if you can log in.

Also, the launcher is a delicate creature, and among other things, it doesn't work well if it has many files to download at once. After you've installed store content, you can clear the corresponding files from your downloads folder in Documents (although it might be good to keep backups somewhere). Then try rebooting the game and downloading only a few items at a time.

Also, consider this. Change your EA password, and that will generally cause the password fail loop to stop.

I discussed my situation and the links I use right here: http://forums.thesims.com/en_us/discussion/comment/16429208#Comment_16429208

Can we confirm that you are on Windows (not Mac) and have actually done this procedure on Internet Explorer in particular and not just Edge or any other browsers? This is what it should look like. If you are on Win 10, IE may not be as easy to get to as prior but it's in there somewhere.
