Why does the sunlight indoors treat sims like they're not even standing in the sun
His shadow only appears when hes standing completely out of it and when they stand directly in the sun the sim is still dark?
Another issue is why does the shadows got to be jumpy on high settings but on medium they are smooth? (This video is to show the shadows and what i mean by jumpy this fix kinda makes the lighting screw up)

Is it even worth posting there cause a lot of those responds are so old and no real resolution?
It is helpful to post feedback there, as it helps the developers to know that simmers are continuing to have these issues.

The sun indoors has never touched the Sims, No matter the window or door like the sun moves across furniture great, but sims are treated differently as if they aren't there or as if the sun isn't there but around them? you can check in your own game its never reflected on a sim

Its not just my game but ill post it anyway
I meant that it would be good to post about the issue with the shadow movement on the AHQ EA site thread that I posted the link to. Crinrict has moved your feedback about the sunlight and shadows to the lightings thread on the site, and BryontRae will post feedback to you there.
Edit : SimQARobo is looking into it on the AHQ EA lightings thread

Hello, Vulnn! For this issue on the sim, I think the game is just designed that way. I think it's because sims might be moving a lot and if they design the shadows to follow the sims, it will take more CPU power to render the shadows. So, personally, I don't think it's a design issue. The new indoor lighting is very similar to the outdoor lighting actually and if you bring your sims outside, you usually won't see their shadow during certain times of days (like noon), so I'm guessing that's what's happening.
Actually, it's very interesting that you pointed out that the sim standing in the dark has a shadow but not when he's in the light. I've never noticed this before! I might go into my game and try to test it around and see what's really causing it.
As for the jumping shadows, I really don't know if the gurus are going to fix it.
The Shadows in sims 4 is very strange because in sims 3 they worked smoothly and in the medium setting for sims 4 the shadows move smooth so i just dont understand the issue
You can use the medium setting and just turn 'InteriorSunShadows' to true.
