Is the message occurring in the section where you can press the button to see what packs you own?
Try coming out of the game, then going back in again and see if that helps. The server may be busy at the moment, or may be updating after the patch.
Hi! Yes it's in the start menu. At the top right, three pumblob's icon. I restarted many times, gives me the same error. I might try to reinstall the game to see if it helps Thanks anyway :)

I couldn't check my downloadable content either, but it told me that it was due to "Origin in game" being disabled. Try turning it on in Origin under "Application Settings."

Edit : it sounds like it is related to origin in-game.
Origin in game was working just fine... now with this patch it stopped working D: I have it enabled and I already reinstalled the game and origin. Problem still persists

Are you having issues with origin in-game not working? That may be the cause of why you are unable to see the downloadable content.
Sometimes it is disabled by EA so as other issues can be worked on and fixed.
Do you have any video capture software like FRAPS or Bandicam installed and running? I think I read somewhere that video capture software can cause OIG to stop working for some games.
The problem is not Origin. I played PvZ and I used OIG normally. I guess it has some conflict with The Sims 4 The only video capture I use is shadowplay and it works great with OIG so that isn't a problem too.
EDIT: Things I did: manually uninstalling origin; restarting computer (lol); stopped video capture software. Nothing worked

can you confirm for me you can see the icon for DLC? and you just cant connect because gallery online options for me have changed. before the patch i could click on like gallery even if my game was offline and then connect there. now to have the DLC icon and gallery option when offline i have to go to game options/other and select online features

thank you the screen shot is helpful. its possible its a server issue with origin if its only been happening since the release of the patch. are you trying to install the EP via DLC button?
I'm not installing it yet because I'm waiting for the physical release... I have to wait till the 10th. Europe releases suck xD It's a server issue only for the europeans? I currently live in Portugal and a friend of mine is having this issue too. She's also from Portugal
I am sorry that you are continuing to have this issue. Other simmers are experiencing it as well.
As a workaround, click the top of the forum page. That will take you to thesims.com site. Press the " store" label, then press sims 4 store. It will then show what packs you own or don't own, and when you click on them it will show all the items in the pack.
Hi, was your issue ever properly fixed? I have been having the same problem since about the time you posted. I tried everything you did and eventually stuck with going through the website

If you didn't manually uninstall origin, try doing that, then reinstall origin again.
