Graphics card recommendations?

Currently I'm looking for a new graphics card for my computer, and I've decided I'm gonna go with an NVIDIA card, but I'm not sure which would be a good choice. I'm looking for something that's at least 1 or 2 gb dedicated, I'd preferably like 2 gb and can run the sims 3 with all expansions/stuff packs and the sims 4 with expansions/stuff. I'm not looking for anything horribly expensive, I'd like to get something for under $200 if possible. I only play the sims 3 and 4, nothing else. So any recommendations would be appreciated.

    Hello,

In order to recommend a graphics card that will be compatible with your computer, I'm going to need more information if possible. Could you post a DxDiag report please? Instructions on how to do so can be found here:

If you are having trouble pasting the full report here, try splitting it into multiple messages, or use pastebin.com

I hope this helps and keep simming,

Well I'm gonna be changing the motherboard and power supply of my computer, not sure to what yet, so this is what it has currently.

It's a HP H8-1020 Desktop computer. Right now it's just running on onboard graphics. Original graphics card died, and I can't get a new one in due to the BIOS requiring an update that is not available for the computer, and I can't find a replacement of the original card, so my only option for a new GPU is to replace the motherboard and get a better power supply. So I'm just trying to find out which would be a good graphics card to go with.

    Hello,

From looking at your computer, I would like to just say beforehand that for any suggestions I make, I cannot guarantee that they will be 100% compatible with your system and you may run into issues. Also, the upgrade you're discussing is fairly complicated, so I would suggest that the upgrade be done by someone with a lot of experience with building computers if you are not confident with doing it yourself.

Here is what I would suggest (incl. motherboard & power supply):

I hope this helps and keep simming,
