Would The Sims 3 Run Well On This?

Browsing around for a new desktop on the hope of getting a new one one day soon, and looking at a ASUS M32BC Gaming PC. I used the chart on modthesims for the graphics card, but that model wasn't specifically listed so wanted to check. Would this kind of computer run the sims 3 well?

The newest graphics cards will not be listed on that chart as the game cannot allow for those to be recognized automatically. That just means you have to take some one time steps to get such a card recognized and its frame rate limited.

Looks like this one would be fine to me, unless I am missing something. There are those who prefer Intel processors over AMD. For comparison's sake, you might want to let a Tech Responder here custom build a system for you online closer to when you are ready to buy. You will likely get stronger components for the simoleon, dollar, pound, euro, etc. that way.

    Hello,

The R9 255 graphics card is probably somewhere between a Radeon HD 7750 and Radeon HD 7770 in terms of performance, so probably should allow you to play the game at medium-high settings with most, if not all, expansion packs.

What would your budget be to see if I can find a better deal?

I hope this helps and keep simming,

Thanks for the info, my budget is probably around $800 Canadian, and performance wise it sounds better than the one I currently have at least in terms of graphics cards.

The one big fear I have with custom built is multi year warranty plans, I'm the kind of person who loves technology, but it doesn't always exactly like me all the time.

    Hello,

Might I suggest this ASUS desktop from Newegg CA - it should give you even better performance and is still within your budget:
