I have a Mac......

Don't beat me..... *waves white flag*

I am actually looking to purchase a new laptop and obviously being a Sims lover, I'm now leaning towards getting a windows but being a bit dim - I'm stuck at making any sort of decision towards which one. Anyone have any recommendations? I'm not looking for all the bells and whistles, just one that will run the Sims 4 well and enable me to write word documents (duh ;) ). I'm also in the UK - not sure if that matters but still.

Sorry if this been asked before, as previously mentioned - bit dim!

    Hello,

What is your budget? Also, how well do you want to run The Sims 4? Medium graphics settings? High? Ultra?

Around £600? Not sure if this will get me anything decent or not. High graphic settings would be nice but if my budget doesn't allow it.....

@choline Tip: Only purchase laptops if you need a computer by your side at most times. :) If not, choose a desktop PC and save lots of money.

    Hello,

I suggested these to someone else recently:
    http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/laptops-netbooks/laptops/laptops/lenovo-z50-70-15-6-laptop-white-10022700-pdt.html
    http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/laptops-netbooks/laptops/laptops/toshiba-satellite-s50-b-12q-15-6-laptop-silver-10011272-pdt.html

The Toshiba will perform slightly better in The Sims 4, however the Lenovo is a better laptop overall.

I hope this helps and keep simming,

    Cody

EDIT: I can do desktops too! Do you need a monitor and peripherals as well?
