Hello and thank you for whatever help I can get.
About a month ago, I updated my graphics card to a Geforce GT 610. The picture looks beautiful and I have no other problems with any other game or program. However, when I downloaded the sims 4 demo, all my sims are distorted. Some features are pulled outward, such as a shoe or what appears to be a tail. When I alter settings the bar(s) does change position, sometimes coming from the back of the sim or the nose etc. I am not sure what else to do. Any suggestions? I need help. This also occurs on my sims 3. I cannot even play because of this. thank you!

What you have to remember is playing on such a low end card will push the card to its limits and cause overheating and graphical effects and eventually the card will just die.
Playing the demo is no way to tell weather it will play the full game.
I noticed the OP had graphical distortion's.. that's typical of a card that's struggling and over heating.
