Sims 4 Demo Not Working

It does not crash, it just always snaps me back to my desktop. When I then try to close it, I can enter the program but all that displays is a white screen and the cursor. When I close it with task manager I can then hear the music for s few seconds before it closes. What is going on?

    Hi,

Are you running an AMD CrossFire setup, or a multi-monitor setup? What happens when using the monitor display with a DVI or VGA cable, instead of an HDMI cable? Does the demo work when set to window mode via Alt-Enter on the keyboard? To force the demo to launch in window mode from the start you can do the following:

1 - Right click on The Sims 4 Create A Sim Demo icon in "My Games"
2 - Go to "Game Properties" (make sure the CAS Demo is not running)
3 - Type: -w in the "Command Line Arguments" then Apply

As for the DXDiag report you can check out the AMD website for the latest WHQL-certified, 64-bit Catalyst drivers for your AMD graphics card. The current drivers listed are dated 12/6/2013.

The report indicates your C drive or partition has 4.4GB of free space left. This is a dangerously low amount for the Windows OS and could be a factor in the demo not working properly. Freeing up additional space is definitely recommended. Performing a Windows clean boot may also help - for instructions you can check out the following Microsoft support article:
