Everything now is being saved by you in OneDrive now. How do I stop this?

I bitterly resent that I cannot keep my files on my own hard drive where I have plenty of room but now everything appears to be sent to OneDrive by your app. Files get cleared out after a time and this seems to be why I lost all my older Save files and one cannot get Windows 10 not to do this. It's even worse if you get a new computer.
How can one change the Save folder back to one's own Hard Drive?
If this is a sign of what's to come it won't do EA any good at all.
I had blocked OneDrive from starting up on my computer so where the files are I don't know.

How to disable the automatic synchronization of Onedrive with your Documents folder (since the above comment does not actual help people who might not know how to do that).
