If you hold Ctrl + Shift in Buy/Build Modes you can interact with some objects like lights and stereos like you would in Live Mode I think. I'm also getting duplicating lab coats with the chemistry set from Generations still. Every use of the station adds another dupe of the outfit to the career outfits. It even dupes them past the 3 outfit limit. I've had as many as 22 of them. I have to keep deleting them from the wardrobe with a dresser.

Spawners for alchemy appear when you use an alchemy station. You can move/delete them with testingcheatsenabled true and buydebug cheats in buy mode. My Sim couldn't change into a plantsim because of another life state. If your Sim isn't already living as a different life state... e.g. vampire, witch, fairy ...they should be able to turn by eating Forbidden Fruit. I'm not sure if ghost Sims can. Maybe.

Make sure you use harvest instead of tend garden if you want the baby. If you tend garden you get a fruit your Sim can eat to get the Botanitus Minorus moodlet which turns them into the plantsim if left uncured.

I don't know if it was because my Sim had the Simmunity lifetime reward or because she was a witch already but, I couldn't turn her into a plantsim by eating the forbidden fruit. Or if it wasn't just a bug. She never developed Botanitus Minorus after eating.

Make sure there is only 1 door into YOUR Sims' apartment and each of the other apartments.
