Yes, I like the theme, and that they created a job where you can actually go to work, so to speak. I want more of that. All in all I wish the pack was deeper, but it's a stuff pack sadly, so we take what we can get.
It has to be something deeper. If it's just "If player pets dog then +1 to personality_doglover" it's not really a personality system, but more... pardon the pun, a dog training system. They will always become what we want them to become. So no, I reckon it has to be deeper than that and people innately get some kind of…
I stopped playing and buying after EL, my glass finally overflowed there. They got some work to do on the game before I will consider coming back as a player and even more to prove if they want me back as a buyer. So, to answer the question, no I don't think it's right to hide a fix the game sorely need behind a pack to…
I quit playing when Eco Living turned my game so chaotic and wild I just couldn't stand playing anymore. What I wish they would do is hit the brakes and just go over the main game and existing expansions and polish it all up to a high end level. I'm so sad about it for multiple reasons; I love life-sim games, and also I…
Something I would love to see is gameplay for when you're rich, for when you've succeeded and want to play with your resources. Buy real estate, businesses, investments and so on. I want to get gameplay for "end-game".
My dislike for it is two-fold, and this is because I like The Sims, and I like Star Wars. Mixing these two is a disservice to both! It won't have any deep Star Wars feeling, you won't live in the Star Wars Universe. It also contaminates the The Sims core universe itself at the same time. It's just a lose-lose for me. I…
I like Star Wars, but trying to mash it into The Sims 4 is just... I can't believe it. I thought it was a joke when I saw a video talking about it. They can make a stand-alone Star Wars Sims if they want, I'd play that, but fitting it into The Sims 4 universe is just mind-bogglingly crazy.
I always upgrade my computer quite regularly anyway. Gaming is what I do most of in terms of hobbies so it's natural most of my money is also spent on the tool I need to do it :P Same as golfers buy golf clubs
I don't think that one is related to the NAP. I got it too in my game and I didn't have that NAP running or had ever been running. I do like it though, it was the first I've seen from a Sim expressing some kind of "personality". :)
The short answer from me would be that no, I don't feel it was worth the price. The long answer would be to look around the forum at all the issues it currently has.
They, as far as I know, haven't actually said they aren't going to fix it for the future so it might arrive one day. Programmers don't like to be defeated by code so I wouldn't be surprised if people want to spend time on it to get it working as it was intended. Back when I was still programming I could never just give up…
This issue was the "final drop" for me in terms of issues. My Sim's GF came over, baked 3 white cakes in a row before I had to kick her out again for making a mess in my home. Every time she came to visit. Game is currently driving me crazy and I'm waiting to play until they get a handle on it again.
I just reckon they didn't have enough time to make things work, and think things through fully before it had to be packed together for "shipping to the stores". So we get a messy ball of yarn to be untangled later.
Oh no, you can't throw that around here. First of all the game was showcased everywhere with balconies you could use, so the expectation of the product you're about to get was clear as day. Secondly is the price of the expansions themselves, it's almost the price of a full game, each and every time. Lastly, yes they failed…
They can walk out there but there's not really any point to it. It was the first place I moved into for the record so it was a bit of a thorn in the side that it was "bugged" (working as intended?). Until and If they fix it later, they should atleast lower the price of it I feel.
