To my best knowledge, we have never heard a word from the developers that changing babies from how they are in game right now is anything they have any plans for. Best guess, probably not, unless they finish everything else that we know they do want to do, and go looking for challenges. Babies are what they are.
Oh, I should read that - streams are hard for me. I have some hearing loss, and auto-captioning is comically hit or miss. I'd more take it as "December is a busy month for us, too, outside our work life, and we are giving people time to do things, so don't expect another stream next month. We'll have one in January." I…
This isn't a useful place to report bugs, except so far as maybe learning what other players have found to be a useful work-around, if they have run into the same problem and discovered a means of getting past it. You can do that, however, as well as bring game bugs to the attention of the QA team that fixes them, at EA…
Wait until their Energy meter is at least amber, not green. Even then, I have seen occasionally a bug with furnishings in a favorite style where my sims will wake up, get out of bed, and walk through the house to admire said object, even if not fully rested. If you put your sims to bed, and they don't sleep AT ALL, I would…
Batuu save - Jax took a break from his Scoundrel aspiration until he learns a bit more Programming, so Serial Romantic it is. Date Night! "Hey, have you heard of those Twi'lek healing baths at the Dai-Bendu Kyber Dojo?" Gold medal event - I think he'll see Ryan again. ;)
My kids just stay in school - I know the pace of the school week and drive kids well in it. But if I were taking time off, I'd "Quit Job" via MCCC. No idea if that sets them back to a C grade, or whether grades are retained.
It seems as though things are set up to give only one "special" egg or milk per day. To get more, give another treat, before the next day - that's how I'd approach it. For the most part, I don't aim for specials. I want plain old eggs to cook with or sell, and fertilized eggs to repopulate my poultry. So I am not certain…
Yes, do - especially depending upon how long it has been since you have played. There have been changes to the navigation tools that may play poorly with older mods. Remember to clear your caches, too.
Of course it will be an option. If they were going to make it a one-size-for-all approach, it would be done. I really don't like the narrative that people are being forced into playing "that way". You aren't and you won't be, What will happen is that some others, who have never been able to play that way will be. Also,…
Jaxon in the Kyber dojo, performing the one yoga pose I can actually duplicate in real life. :) Last shot of a series to document the "Family-Friendly" routine.
Not being single doesn't necessarily require one start a family. I only ever accept "Try For Baby" if that is what I - and both sims involved - want to do. I have played happily child-free couples for years. It depends on the sims & their story. Currently, I am incubating a future born-in-game Spellcaster (for Bloodline…
You can use your phone to take a Lifestyle course which I think includes leaving a Lifestyle. Otherwise, if you do not engage in Lifestyle-supporting behavior for long enough, you will lose the Lifestyle over time.
My most played is probably Culinary, because completing the aspiration for the Fresh Chef trait requires it, and trays of food that don't spoil are super handy for households with kids. By good luck, one of my founders had it under his belt already when I moved him over to a family aspiration, and it was very useful for…
Sometimes. "Close-knit" and "People Person" put brackets around maintaining a particular number of relationships, which feels inorganic and artificial to me. Of the two, "Close-Knit" is more troublesome, as it limits to 4 relationships above acquaintance and that is only half of a full house, and the Tense moodlet it…
