Most likely the game would have sent the child off to daycare, but there should have been a pop-up asking about this. CPS only comes if there is not one sim, teen or older living in the household.
I think the best way to do this would be to save John and Alyson to your library. Then add them to your other family, and you will have an option for brand new sims to be put at any family type you choose. The game treats saved sims the same as a newly created sim.
Almost forgot one little thing, after you do as the link instructed, you'll need to close out the app. I have found if you don't, those changes won't appear.
I wouldn't bother with Get to Work, because the careers don't work anymore, at least for me they don't. One pack that I do still get a lot of uses from is Get Together. Now to the reason, I say this, at first when I first started playing that pack it for the whole party scene, but not anymore. I am one who plays the family…
I have taken out Death, Moving Out, and Moving In with my NS. I don't mind the occasional, but nearly half of all the sims who started out had either died (always killed) or had moved out. Whole families had either moved into a one-bedroom home or became homeless. The wildest death was one of the university girls was…
I remember I had a lot in my game, I had downloaded it from the gallery, and wasn't paying attention to that part. One thing I did discover is that teens and younger will turn around and leave. I understand why, but it was still a bit of a surprise to me at the time.
First, you will need the MCCC mod. After you have it, click on a mailbox > MC Cheats > Sims/NPC Household Cheats > Hide Households After that you will see every single household in your game, just click on the ones you want to hide.
One town that I love is Moonwood Mill, it is a small world but has no loading screen, other than going into the different lots. This world came in the Werewolf Game Pack. There are not many lots, but the community lots have been combined, for example, there is a gym behind the library. One thing I love to do is to have my…
I don't remember the cause of the death, but I do remember it was less than 2 minutes of real-time gameplay. In that case, I just added the same sim from my library back into the game.
I am using the EA app, if you are worried about anything in your game (saves, mods, etc.) just save a copy the folder to another area on your computer. I never had any problems when I switched over. One thing I did notice, and it is not a big deal, but might scare you if you don't know. When I first installed the EA app,…
One thing to keep in mind if you have your vampire go this route, in every story, movie, ect. Whenever a vampire has been in hibernation for a very long time, they are not thinking, but are needing to quench their thirst/hunger. So most likely the poor sap who opens/unlocks the crypt will most likely be dinner, and not…
I've never read in any of the rules where you can't start up a new save. Here is a link you might find helpful. https://snootysims.com/wiki/sims-4/sims-4-legacy-challenges-your-complete-guide/
I have in the past where I brought other Sims on a jungle adventure. To me it was more of a pain with the exception of one thing. That was I could have my sim leave the area while leaving the other sim behind. Then I could very easily go back to that point with my sim. Almost forgot to mention the other sim also lived in…
Same here, when I first discovered this for myself, I had assumed they were like the apartments that were in City Living. I was hoping to add a small garden to the balcony, but couldn't even do that. After that, I just stopped even bothering with the ECO apartments.
I'm thinking maybe possibly Newcrest. I've played Brindleton Bay in the winter in the past, and Windenburg seemed to me to be much colder. Newcrest felt very similar to Willow Creek weather-wise.
I usually only play with one or two sims, but when I do play with more than that (usually because the family grows), the pause button is my friend. For the most part, I just let the sims do whatever. I am attempting to do something new, and that is starting off with a couple, with two pets (a fox and a raccoon created in…
I've never had any issues as far as Vampire / Werewolf relationships as long as the werewolf didn't wolf out around the vampire or bring up the subject. In the beginning, there is always a bit of a ding to the relationship, but nothing that can't be easily solved.
