@PapaTysee You'll need an external optical disk drive, you just plug it in via USB :) my laptop doesn't have a built-in one either, so that's what I use when I install games from disk. I also highly recommend the graphics rules, my Sims 2 looks great with them! Best of luck!
These are lovely pictures! I especially like that building in the second image (I know I say this practically every time I comment on this thread, but I ADORE your buildings!) I don't know if anyone has suggested this before, but if you're really against mods you can keep your custom buildings and just put the official…
That sunset (sunrise?) picture is gorgeous! <3 glad things are going well in Fenbury! I hope you're getting plenty of rest! It's definitely important to help family, but take care of yourself as well <3 (oh, and I'm so sorry I never posted pictures of the interior of the house you uploaded for me, I started decorating but…
I hope I did this right: [img][/img] This horrified little dog was watching my sim's singing performance; apparently it was worse than his fleas! [img][/img] Gnome-pool anyone?
This isn't a video tutorial, but I've found the site's tutorials very helpful in the past: http://krrank.blogspot.com/p/caw-tutorial.html They're in depth about the basics with pictures.
Is it the entire screen that's black, or just the render panel? If it's just the render panel, that's normal :) you go to "file --> new world" then select browse on the image file, choose a height map, make sure your max height matches the height map's height, click either lush or desert, then hit ok! On the other hand, if…
I'm so glad I could cheer you up :D I know it's so frustrating when things don't save! YES please put the house on the exchange, I'd be so happy to add it to my game!! I think the bump out would make a great reading nook. And if you end up sharing Fenbury when you're done, I plan on downloading that as well :)
I LOVE the lot with the greenhouse, it's so pretty! And the little diagonal bump-out over the door is such a cool architectural feature. I want to live in that house in real life :D I hope your surgery goes well!! <3
Is there a reason you specifically need Mediafire? The world is on the Exchange! (And like all Quailhogs worlds, is amazing!) https://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=8372353
For the cottage, instead of using the pre-built chimneys, you could just build decorative/nonfunctional ones if you're going for aesthetics. It wouldn't require any cheats, you would just need to build a 1x1 second story room with brick/stone exterior covering and adjust the roof height accordingly!
The houses on Willow Tree Lane are stunning! You're such a talented builder :) I'm so sorry to hear you have to have surgery, that's never fun :/ you're in my thoughts and prayers! <3
If I'm remembering correctly, ballet is a hidden skill. As they level up in it, you should get new self-interactions to do different ballet moves, or I believe you can show the moves off to other sims. I don't remember how long it takes to gain the first level of skill :#
At least that's how I usually do it on a PC (not sure if Mac would have different controls.) Also, you should create a showcase thread for your world so we can see it! :)
I'm not sure if anyone has suggested GlenDonnach yet, but it's another world by doublemedion694. I think it's a beautiful rural world, and I personally am a fan of the architecture :)
