I remember hearing certain NPC roles can only be filled by non-residential Sims (maybe that's a better term to use than "homeless?")--but that could be wrong.
I think people are reading too much into the word "homeless." I'm just using the game's official term for Sims who don't reside on an in-game lot. Presumably, in most cases, "homeless" Sims have a home somewhere offscreen. All I'm saying is it could be useful if Sims were playable without needing to be tied to a lot.
I will never, ever object to more swatches. Added swatches are the most exciting updates for me. I'm a dork. And can we get cabinets to match all the counters that came without them?
I know we can already pretend our Sims are homeless by placing them on a vacant lot and/or never actually having them visit their home lot. ;) I'm talking about being able to play Sims who are Not In World.
If I already replied to this thread, I can't find where I did, but even if I did, what's wrong with putting in another vote for Dream Home Decorator? I want to be able to renovate more of the different venue types. As of now, we can only do commerical gigs at libraries, gyms, lounges, bars (not Karaoke bars, though), cafes…
Probably an unpopular wish, but I want a system wherein all CAS assets other than the ones you chose when initially creating your Sim are locked until your Sim (or household, perhaps) purchases them with household funds, preferably at a brick-and-mortar store.
I'd love to see a refresh of the Spooky Stuff Pack that adds the outfits that came with the pack to the choices under "wear costume..." It's way past time we had more to choose from than career uniforms and Star Wars characters.
First, I'd make sure you were using the table correctly. Drag items from your Sim's inventory to the table. Click the table, select "Tend table." You may also need to click "Stock table" to make the merchandise appear. Once you've got your Sim tending a stocked table, click the table again and select "Start yard sale."…
I was trying to have One Sim Do it All--at least all aspirations--but now we have aspirations exclusive to Teens. I'm afraid I'll break my save if I age Morgan Mallard down so she can complete the Teen aspirations...
I wouldn't want Sims to NEVER initiate actions they dislike, but there should be a reason they're doing them despite disliking them. Some greater desire, need or obligation they have no other way to fill save through the Dreaded Activity. On this note, I'd love to see The Sims explore the concept of Obligation/Duty in…
I always get nervous when I encounter a Very Sad Sim for this exact reason! I have aging turned off, I have death turned off in NHS, and I think I have MCCC set to prevent culling, but I still worry some Sim will fall through some gap somewhere...
If you're looking for a cheat to summon the Sim's Ghost to the current lot, first, you'll have to get the dead Sim's ID number using: sims.get_sim_id_by_name [Sim's full name] Once you've got the ID number, summon them with: sims.summon_sim_to_zone [Sim's ID from previous step] Once the Ghost Sim appears, you are free to…
Just my guess; I haven't tested this: Add him to your household, modify the household with CAS.fulleditmode enabled, add a daughter for Guidry, make her a young adult or older, then set her as your main Sim's mother in the household relationships menu. I don't know whether you can skip creating the middle generation and…
Wait--have I missed something? Are we able to create holidays for individual worlds? I thought we could only create a universal holiday calendar that applied to all worlds?
