I agree, we need new traits! "Introvert", or "Awkward" maybe, I dunno (?). We also need a trait for those sims who don't really like jokes. Something like the "Dull" one @mauvejinjo said.
Yes! Same thing happened to me the other day. They don't wake up with any new moodlet or certain specific emotion. It's just the animation what's new. It's pretty cool!
The same thing happens in my game. I don't hate it, though. I admit it's kind of annoying having sims leaving glasses everywhere. But I like the fact that they drink water.
If it is done right, then why not? They should create fake religions, obviously, just like on The Sims Medieval, and keep the religious undertones optional.

I don't know if I really want the zombie/werewolf life states back. On The Sims 3: Supernatural they were annoying. I liked vampires and witches, though. Other than that, please do not give us another Into The Future.
I have different sims from different families working in the Science career, and they're all co-workers, and they see each other everyday at work, which is awesome, I didn't know this!
