    can't reinstall the sims 3 after windows 8 upgrade

    it says the registration code is invalid? How do I fix this?

      I think you're trying to reregister the game. You just need to use the serial code to install the game. Make sure that you're not trying to reregister. I've never gotten that prompt when trying to reinstall a game before.

      that's what I did -_-

      I ended up downloading them from origin.

      So anyone that knows what to do after upgrading to windows 8 and reinstalling completely after everything was wiped clean. How do I get around the invalid code error? There are expansion packs not in origin that I've registered.
