I think it's time for a new umbrella *pic*

Mary-Sue Pleasant has had this umbrella from day one, before her child was born. By now he's a teenager, so that gives you an idea of how long she's been carrying it around.

I never looked at it till now. It's probably been that way for some time because it seems to rain almost every day in my game and she always sits in the rain to study up her cooking or read the newspaper.

I haven't seen a broken bumbershoot yet, but I did notice that with Handiness you can upgrade them to "Unbreakable".

Yeah I noticed that too. Really weird but at least they are sort of cheap.

When I saw the holey umbrella, I thought maybe it was an issue with my computer graphics but glad to know it's not! I was wondering why my Sims were still getting soaked even with the umbrella, but apparently it's because I was seeing actual holes in it!

Haha, that happened to my sim too. I wondered whether it was from usage or whether it was from my sim going out into a hailstorm with it.
