    Two questions...

    in The Sims 3 General Discussion
    First: my teen sim only has three traits. Where can I find the patches to fix this? I forgot this happened since I bought Generations.

    Second: I bought the casino and one option for the slot machines is to use a lucky coin from the wishing well. Where do I find the wishing well and how would I get a coin from it?

      I think the wishing well comes with the Lucky Palms world (when its released). I'm sure it will be released separately at some point though.

      By default, teen sims can only have 4 traits. However, this can be bypassed using MasterController or Awesomemod.

      I type in testingcheatsenabled true in the cheat window. Then I hold shift and click on the Sim that does not have the correct number of traits. You can "modify traits for sim" but I have found that this rarely sticks, so I use "edit sim in CAS". You can change their traits there just as if you were making the Sim in CAS for the first time. Hope this helps.

      I don't have the casino, can't help you with that.

      Thanks everyone! I picked the third trait for my sim when he grew to a child but it just disappeared I guess. I didn't even notice it until he became a teen and I had to pick another one. I will give the cheat window a try!

      Thank you elle0808. I kinda thought the well was somewhere in my game but it makes sense having it in the new town.

      That whole missing trait thing is a common problem, thankfully that simple cheat is an easy fix. :]
