    Why are sims invisible? glitch help

    I am having issues with my game. Most sims are invisible. I am afraid it is going to crash my game. The sim is totaly invisible or the sim is visable but the sim's face does not show up in the box. Is there a fix?

    I have no mods, cheats, or custom content added to my game.

      Maybe your computer is just slow to load them because there is too much in your lot or town?

      Maybe you need to clear your cache files?

      How do you clear the cashe? I do not know where that is at.

      There is clearly a sim there but it not showing up. The sim is there but not visable. I can not click on the invisable sim to interact with the sim.

      Do you have any mods? I find that taking them to CAS through MasterController makes my sims invisible for a bit. But if they're staying invisible for a while, that's also happened to me too. I can't remember which one fixes it but it's either ErrorTrap or Overwatch, just start up the game, wait for a bit, and it will fix the UI, the portraits and make your sims visible again. Hope you get it working again :D

      KayzaPlyr I have no mods or anything like that. I'll try to load the game again and wait a bit.

      My computer is not that good but it plays the sims 3 good enough. Its off the shelf cookie cutter computer.

      Caches are in Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3.

      I was lucky enough to have saved on a different file name just before the touble started. So my game is running alrite for now. *knocks on wood*
