    How To Place Downloaded House On Lot

    I downloaded a house, though I have same problem with houses already there. I pick the house and the cursor carries it by the corner. I moved around until I found lot that was correct size, and placed it. However, it wasn't the correct way. The mailbox and sidewalk were facing an empty field and not the street. I tried several times with different houses, rotating the screen, etc, but never could get it to place right. Is there a trick to it?

      Did you rotate the house after applying it to the lot? Did you wait for it to finish rotating before accepting the changes?

      I always have to do this for my houses. I find it rather annoying. :p

      No, I tried rotating before I placed the house, I "assumed" that would be the way to go. Was that wrong and I should have rotated after placing? That does make sense.

      Yes. You just rotate the house after you place it on a lot. Then click accept and your good. By rotating before placing the house you must mean rotating the camera to a certain view in the neighborhood? That doesn't do anything but change the angle. :)
