    Has this patch made anyone elses game REALLY slow? it's doing my head in!

      Boohoo. The patch has made my game crash at the main loading screen every time. I really miss playing.

      Yes, the new update has made my game run a little slower, but if I use the third speed instead of ultra speed and pause it a few times, it seems to run faster.

      The update actually improved my game performance a little bit. I don't have the highest model computer, but it already ran Sims 3 like a proverbial dream.

      Some people have reported slowing, others have reported it being sped it. I'm wondering if there's a common factor. You may want to peruse the Technical Discussion and see if anybody has had this issue and/or found a solution.

      The patch has given me the ability to scroll across the screen with my cursor, which I hadn't been able to do before, so I'm happy with it. Sorry if it's screwing up your game. :?

      do you mean edge scrolling? you can change that in your options! when i first loaded my game on my puter i freaked cos i thought you could edge scroll, but phewf! i found it!

      Actually now that you mention it, my game has been a little more laggy since I updated my game. It seems that update did more bad than good...
      I have that among other problems, sound problems and the CAStyle is messed up. That all started happening after I got the new patch, hopefully they will have something to fix it.

      I am having the same problem.

      Do you guys have mods in your game? Some of them are not compatible with the new update yet.

      the patch has made my game take forever to save and to switch between active households. and im tired of EA suggesting i buy a new computer when i don't need one. that's all people seem to think of when people need solutions

      Same thing happened to me. I deleted all my cache files and mods and now it works! :D

      My game runs about the same
      It takes a long time to save though
      and I have the stereo sound issue and the blocked path issue
      which are both big pains to me :mrgreen:

      I removed all mods and CC I had.
