    Sims 3 stops working

    My game keeps crashing for no apparent reason. I'm just playing normally, and it freezes and then says that the it has stopped working. I tried changing it to window mode but that made it worse. I don't know what to do or why this started happening because I didn't change anything.

      I have that problem too! It sucks because I don't remember to save till i'm about to exit the game :/

      Do you have any CC or mods, have a big town? CC or mods usually the main cause but big towns can do it too if sims or too many cars get stuck. If it because of the town you can usually notice cause the game with lag a little bit to alot shortly before the game crashes.
